The hotel is situated in a very good location, near Bayswater underground station, in a quite and elegant neighborhood. The room was better than I imagined: situated on the first floor, near the elevator, newly renovated, toiletries and towels provided daily, very clean, very good shower and bed. The breakfast consists of boiled eggs, cheese, butter, jam, toast, yogurts and... More

It's quite convenient to get there within walking distance. Nice staff. The room is tidy and clean, while not spacious enough. One more point is that my room is downstairs without lift. All in all, I had a great stay there.

Stayed here on saturday night, had a single room in the basement, very small, spotlessly clean, everything i needed for a shower and sleeping, had some noisy people above but that was early sunday morning and i wanted to get out and about early anyway. Breakfast was included in the price, a small breakfast room, but the food was good,... More

I booked a double room... The room was smaller than the smallest single room you can find wherever else... I had a luggage and it was impossible to walk. Continental breakfast: two burned pieces of bread, some eggs, marmalade and yoghurt... Not sufficient at all

Thank you for your review. We are proud to be located within an English Heritage listed 19th Century Victorian building, oozing period charm and retaining many of it's original features. I am sorry to read that this was not to your taste. I hope this in no way dampened your visit to our city and wish you all the best. More

Would definitely recommend. Good value for money in a central location. Staff were friendly and efficient. Very clean room and en-suite. Room was very small and basic but comfortable. Good size TV and good free wifi connection. Nice and quiet. Plenty of shops and a really good range of places to eat nearby. 5 minutes walk to Bayswater metro.

Can recommend this hotel. Not too expensive and pretty central. Small room but who care? The breakfast was ok too but rather poor selection. If you want a hotel which is clean and comfortable choose this one! Nice staff too.

Very good location, close to Bayswater area. Rooms are small and with just the rudimentary stuff. TV didn't work, WIFI a bit bumpy. Nice but simple breakfast. Then again, being in London is really not about staying in your hotel room, is it?

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
