I've got room for two days over there and found a cheap option on Booking.com. It was 30% of normal price, and 30% of normal room, with small doors, where I had barely fitted. Private bathroom was outside the room (it was described on booking.com). It was very hot in the room, however I have to admit, that everything was... More

I came to London for a short break. This hotel is just what we wanted. Close to the tube, room was lovely and warm. It was very clean and the breakfast was simple and effective. I would stay here again.

Very nice hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, Clean and warm. Breakfast was nice. Big windows. Located in a very quiet square. Nice neighbourhood. Near the Underground (5 minutes walk to Bayswater station). A good number of restaurants near by. If I come back to London I will stay here again.

As a frequent London traveler I got used to the fact that an average hotel room size is about an third of the size of my living room back home. This hotel is no exception. But thanks to the efficiency of the service It still made me feel like I am in a five star hotel! Front desk managers were... More

Fantastic newly refurbished hotel within walking distance of Paddington Rail station. Superb room with comfortable beds and clean ensuite. Too hot at times but rather that than cold. Good range at breakfast.

Nice hotel, small rooms & bathrooms, friendly atmosphere, nice location, quit street with park. Close to busses and Subway. Inside of hotel looks friendly, all Floors make noises, sounds, typical for such a house. Breakfast requires improvements. Poor Quality Bread. Small selection, the bare minimum.

We spent the last few days in London staying at the Garden Court. We were really impressed with the service we received. Firstly I rang the hotel on arrival in London to ask if we could drop off our luggage early as we had arrived earlier that planned. After checking the status of our room I was told by the... More

Dear readers, do not book a single here! I had the largest single of the property (603) and it was truly the size of a prison cell - claustrophobic. I saw a few other singles and they were worse. Please view my pics. The toilet and sink were basically in the shower. Other singles have larger bathrooms but not larger... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to read that you found our single rooms small but referring to them as prison cells is perhaps a little bit of an exaggeration! On arrival you were patiently shown nearly all of our available single rooms in an attempt to find a suitable solution for you. You were offered the option... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
