Can recommend this hotel. Not too expensive and pretty central. Small room but who care? The breakfast was ok too but rather poor selection. If you want a hotel which is clean and comfortable choose this one! Nice staff too.

Very good location, close to Bayswater area. Rooms are small and with just the rudimentary stuff. TV didn't work, WIFI a bit bumpy. Nice but simple breakfast. Then again, being in London is really not about staying in your hotel room, is it?

The hotel is very primitive Rooms are extremely narrow - we knew it - but it was badly organized. Only one electricity socket . Window was always unclean. The breakfast is poor; boiled eggs , cheese yoghurt and cereals. The place where u eat is very small, very very small The staff is extremely rude , unprofessional and uncooperative that... More

I am so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at our hotel. I am surprised to read your comments about the staff as this is an area in which we usually excel. I find it strange they would not offer advice on shopping especially as we are located close to many busy commercial areas. I am... More

I stayed back for a whole 6 nights with my family with 2 double rooms booked for the 4 of us. This is a Great hotel converted from one of the Victorian buildings at Kensington Garden square. We really enjoyed staying in Central London, very well connected with Bayswater station & Queensway at a 7-8 mins walk. The rooms we... More

Location was good for Bayswater Tube and shops and restaurants nearby, also for the Diana Memorial Park, the hotel is having some work in the front, the rooms are abit tired, but the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was basic but sufficient.

We picked this hotel mainly because of the location and there are several tube stations nearby with great connections to most of the main London attractions. It's also fairly close to several train stations too (one tube stop to Paddington and 20 minutes from Marylebone). We were allowed to leave luggage while our room was being prepared as we were... One of the few real budget hotels in London. Rates are not bad, rooms could do with a renovation but ok in general. Staff in breakfast and housekeeping really kind and smiling, not so much in reception. In general very good value for money in London.

Stayed for just 1 night....Hotel was very pleasant, lovely decor and very clean. Perfect location with the choice of 2 tubes stations within a five min walk. Paddington is a 10/15 minute walk away. Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
