Detailed Reviews
This place has a good location near Earls Court Tube station, when I stayed the price for London was good about 70.00 1 night. Room is very small but this is London so no big surprise here. Better than a lot of others unfortunately there are some real flea pits in the capital!!!

We like the earls Court area for some great restaurants and ease of access to the centre of London so this seems good value. Right next to station, shops, restaurants pubs all within a stones throw.
The hotel has a big reception / lounge with free tea and coffee plus water and same in room. Big light air conditioned space which has been good in heat. Good AC in rooms too.
However, our room was tiny. The double bed ( terrible mattress) was jammed against the wall next to the window. I had to crawl across the bed to get in. There is one bedside table with the tea and coffee making things on it. One plug which means charging phones is a challenge too.
In the bathroom the shower was a half size and the shower head was directly above your head, meaning you hair got wet every shower. ( we did find a shower cap on the second day by the hairdryer - also in the bathroom ).
The towels were very clean but thin and small and you were asked to keep them for a second day to help save the environment. However there was no way for them to dry - so another challenge.
I would have given my right arm for a couple of shelves anywhere - none in bathroom or room.
I think if you’re younger and fitter this might be a great option.

The hotel's location is in a quiet road and only a short walk from Earls Court tube station.
The reception staff were very pleasant and attentive. The foyer provided complementary tea and coffee, which was a nice touch.
The room we had was on the fourth floor and although small, it was clean, tidy and adequate for our needs. It had complementary tea and coffee, TV, USB charge point and air con. We had a twin room and the beds were only small singles, so they may not be suitable for the larger person! The bathroom had been recently refurbished and the shower was excellent! On the downside, the room was a little tired and needed a lick of paint and new carpet.
The optional continental breakfast was £5 but proved good value for money with a good choice of options.
After checking out, a baggage storage facility was available.

Hotel's Favorite
Stayed in lots of London hotels but not in this area previously. Hotel is in a nice street, very close to the tube. The welcome was warm and friendly. There is complimentary tea and coffee in the pleasant reception/lounge area. Our room seemed small but was well planned, very clean and contemporary. The en-suite was very nice. We had everything we needed. The breakfast is continental, which suits us, and was fine. The price is reasonable (for London) and we thought that the location was good. There are lots of shops for snacks etc eg M&S food store in the vicinity.

We've just stayed at the Mowbary Court Hotel as a family of 3 (2 adults 1 2Yr old) We booked via booking.com and we thought this would be ideal, Great location when visiting Central London and good prices.
We went to our room after checking in to find there was only 1 Double bed, straight away we knew the room wasn't going to be suitable as we've got a 2year old where was he going to sleep?
I went to speak with the guy at reception and he said 'Yes I was surprised to see you had a child and only a double room' (why didnt he say this whilst we were checking in) I was told that they dont supply cots or beds for children!! He said If I wanted to change rooms for a triple room then I'd have to pay! He kept referring back to the T&Cs. I was going to pay the extra until he told me it would be even smaller than the one we were alreay in!!!! A triple room SMALLER than a double which was already Small! We declined his offer and decided to go to Argos and Buy a Blow up Childs bed as least our 2year old would be sleeping safely!
Why does this hotel come up when searching with an infant place? I wouldn't have mind if The guy was kind about the situation however he was rude and cocky! He had no interest in helping us.
The room was dirty not Covid safe!!! I could feel EVERY spring in the bed!!!
Top floor room and it was So Hot, understandably the windows dont open much but a fan or AC should be provided. I wouldn't have liked to stay if it was the Summer.
I would avoid at all costs!!

Responded Oct 13, 2020
Dear Zoe T, Sorry we do not agree with your review, Firstly, we have clearly mentioned on booking.com that we do not provide Cots & Extra beds and the children 2 yeras and below can stay with the parentes using the existing bed. Also, every room in the hotel has air-conditioning and the guest have choise to turn on cooling or heating from the room itself. Clearly you have not paid enough attention while making the booking and also while staying in the room otherwise you would have noticed the air-conditioning controler on the bedroom wall. All our rooms are disinfected between stays using the cleaning chemicals that are effective against Coronavirus. Also our cleaning sore on booking.com is 8.1 out of 10. Therefore, we do not agree with your review. Many Thanks

Our stay with the Mowbray Hotel was absolutely outstanding. It was a family trip with the 6 of us so it was a rather large group and the hotel accommodated us adequately. Special mentions to Mr Luigi, Mr Keith, Mr Edward and Mr Ajit for making our stay at the hotel even more phenomenal. Although the rooms were small, the staff helped us with a free upgrade to larger rooms that would fit our family members. The breakfast at the Diana Restaurant is absolutely commendable. I believe that my family members truly look forward to breakfast every day. The location of the hotel is within great walking distance to Earl's Court underground train station, making it very accessible to the other key attractions here in London. All in all, my family and I had a really enjoyable stay here in Mowbray Court and we are looking forward to our next stay here.

Firstly when I read the reviews on TripAdviser I was extremely anxious about our stay at Mowbray Court, however our experience was great! Lovely reception area with complementary drink which are provided all day/night. Staff were lovely and we turned up before check in at 3pm to find our room was ready for us which relaxed us. The room yes was on the smaller side but for 2 of us was more than enough room, as we didn’t plan on staying in the rooms for long periods of time. The rooms were very clean again with complementary tea and coffee in the rooms, hairdryers, towels and body wash were also provided. The hotel is in a perfect location for food and drink also a stones throw away from Earls Court Station. We were attending a convention at Olympia over the weekend, again location was great for this! Breakfast was continental and had plenty of option, more than enough to start your day off right. Overall a great stay for us, opposed to some of the reviews I had previously read. I would definitely recommend for a short stay!

This hotel is definitely a hidden gem in London, the location is second to none being on both the District and Piccadilly lines from Earls Court Station which is literally at the end of the street, making it so easy to get into central London and also to travel to and from Heathrow. Lots of bus connections available in the immediate area also. Multitude of shops, supermarkets, takeaways, bakeries etc all within a very short walk. Rooms small but you don't come to London to spend time in your room, you literally wash and sleep in it and on those fronts this hotel ticks all the boxes. Nice touch having bottled water available (& replenished) in the room. Reception are helpful and friendly, they happily store luggage on arrival (if too early for check in) and on check out to allow more time to explore the city. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful within a light and airy breakfast room. This is my go to hotel in London, fabulous location, excellent value for money and lovely staff. Have stayed 4 times in past 6 months and about to book 5th stay for next month. Honestly don't be put off by bad reviews - this hotel does everything it sets out to do, no frills but welcoming and provides a superb base!

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Mowbray Court Hotel. Our room had everything needed for our two night stay. Might have been considered a tad small if we'd had luggage for a longer stay. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Despite the busy location there was very little sound intrusion and we both slept really well. The toilet would possibly be a little tight for a 'large' person but otherwise the facilities were fine and clean. There was only a ceiling rose for the shower. I would have preferred a hand held one as well but I quickly figured out how to switch it on without getting wet before the water warmed up. There was a good flow of water and plenty of hot water for even a long shower.
Tea making facility was good with the option to top up with biscuits, milk, tea and coffee from the foyer at any time. Continental breakfast was very good with a selection of yoghurts, cereals, breads (toast), croissants, fruit, boiled egg, cold meats, fruit juice, tea and coffee. The staff from all departments were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the fourth floor so the elevator was very handy. The hotel itself is a couple of minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station with good links to the city and King's Cross to the east and Heathrow to the west. There's a good selection of pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and its easy to access all of London's sight's from the tube, or from one of the sightseeing, hop on hop off busses, you can catch from close to the station on Earl's Court Road. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone looking for good quality accommodation at a reasonable price and I will certainly stay there again next time I'm in London.

We had a room basement that smelled damp. The carpet was a bit dirty. The bathroom was clean as well as the towels an the bedsheets. The towels has been replaced daily and we got new bottles of water every day. I would recommend it for a short cheep stay.
The Underground station is 2 minutes away by foot. This is a plus point.

There wasn't a fridge in my room, but there are three well known supermarkets round the corner, plus bakery, boots, restaurants and take-aways. Also, there is always coffee and tea available at the lobby. It is such a convenient location!
Yes there is!
I checked in once, we had a room in the basement and had a window.
Can you be 17 and book alone with your friends ?
The best thing is to contact the hotel either via phone or via mail. They are sweet and very helpful and will make sure You get a wonderful stay.
By the way - the hotel is very nice and situated in a very quiet part of Kensington/Earls Court. If You want an extra quiet room - ask for a room facing away from the street.
AND have a wonderful trip all of You!!
