Sitting between glorious Royal Parkland and the buzz of central Knightsbridge, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London is re-imagined and re-invented, offering the essence of timeless heritage coupled with contemporary flair and impeccable service.
As part of the most-extensive multi-million-pound restoration in the hotel's history, internationally-renowned designer Joyce Wang, oversaw the new design of all the rooms, suites and public areas, inspired by the natural beauty of neighbouring Hyde Park and the glamour of the 20th century Golden Age of travel.
The stunning re-imagining of The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, London along with the hotel's destination restaurants and Mandarin Bar, were directed by esteemed New York designer Adam D Tihany.
One night at MO plus evening meal at Dinner by Heston. Perfect service from start to finish including a generous suite upgrade for my parents who were both celebrating their 80th birthdays. Really lovely touches placing their wedding photos from 56 years ago in their room. The teams on the door and reception could not do enough to help. Warm, welcoming and down to earth, not always true for some top hotels. Location is perfect for a walk in Hyde Park or shopping in the heart of Knightsbridge. Loved it!
Booked an afternoon tea with 2 other couples. The service day before mother's day was awful. The staff were not attentive, no tops ups, short of vegetarian sandwiches. Have had better tea elsewhere.
I stayed here with my daughter as a treat ahead of her wedding at Easter. We also went to Twickenham to watch the rugby. From the moment we entered the hotel we were treated like VIP's with an incredible attention to detail and a service standard I have only experienced in the far east and certainly never in London. In addition to significant room upgrades they had arranged champagne and strawberries in each of our bedrooms as well as framed photos of us and official England rugby shirts, scarves and hats! Every single member of staff was so friendly and well trained with the answer always being "yes"! We dined at Heston's Dinner which was a similarly great experience. Even as we left the hotel on Sunday afternoon, the gentlemen on the door asked us if we had enjoyed the rugby yesterday and wished my daughter a lovely wedding - how did he remember!! I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again.…
The stay was nice, I am not so sure that price/service relationship is adequate but if one wants to stay in the centre of London it is probably the price you have to pay. I was so surprised that you cannot pay digitally with your phone, would have appreciated for the bar to stay open longer and a toilet brush would have been really great. On the other hand I have to say that the bed was really comfortable.
Spotless. The Mandarin Oriental never fails to take care of even the smallest detail. I received a call prior to my stay from the front desk to check my preferences and likes so that I look forward to staying at the Mandarin Oriental again.
The magnificent hotel speaks for itself, however, what makes this hotel unique is the staff. An amazing guest experience team who prepared beautiful details for my birthday. Thank you Joy for giving us the warmest welcome, Patrick for making our afternoon tea an unforgettable experience; and Mihai, for taking care of us every morning at breakfast with the best of smiles. Hopefully come back soon!
Amazing Reception team and wonderful rooms. thank you for looking after us so well! The reception team is outstanding and please try the Sunday Brunch at The Aubrey. amazing Food and service. Well done team MO London!
Not only is this a beautiful hotel adjacent to Hyde Park and next door to Knightsbridge. It has the best staff I have ever had the pleasure to work with. As a party stylist I have worked setting and styling parties in every 5 star London Hotel. Today we set up in The Carlyle Room which is a gorgeous venue within The Mandarin Oriental. Mark who was a member of staff working in The Carlyle Room today gets my vote as best hotel ambassador in London. He was beyond helpful and nothing was too much trouble. His sunny personality kept the vibe up on a very early and cold Sunday morning. Thank you Mark.
We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park for our wedding and had our wedding breakfast at Dinner by Heston (private dining). From start to finish the hotel and staff were amazing. It was seamless end to end. The staff showed genuine friendliness and kindness. Our room was so luxurious with so many little touches. Simply fabulous!!
best of the best, made to feel very welcome from start to finish staff extremely helpful and attentive food and drink was wonderful the room was beautiful and best of all the location you simply can't beat it
