This nostalgic hotel sits right on Hyde Park, where every morning between 10 - 11:00 a.m. the Queens Royal Guards pass by outside the breakfast area. Breakfast is superb, but they need to "refill" items more regularly, Staff at breakfast, superb and helpful. Concierge Nygel and Mitri were exemplary in their assistance, guidance and overall knowledge. Paul, from operations, formerly... More

Stayed at the magnificent Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park 3rd June following an awards lunch in the Carlyle private dining room. The welcome and service by the very smart and iconic door men and concierge was fantastic and made you feel like a VIP which is the feeling you get throughout this Hotel. Rooms were spacious and very elegant and the... More

Ok so anyone who read my scathing review of sketch would think I'm very grumpy but I'm really not! The points I made scout staff courtesy all apply here. I went with the gf for an afternoon tea and it was absolutely fabulous! Firstly the setting is a delight, the room is bright and airy and the tables set out... More

We stayed for one night with friends who had just got married. The hotel staff are amazing -5 star all the way. We used the valet parking which was perfect and took all the stress away for us. The bed was so comfortable and air conditioned room meant a blissful nights sleep.

Enjoyed staying here. It's pricy, but there are reasonable rates available. Located near the tube. Walking distance to Harrods and other shopping and restaurants. Room was very clean, but bathroom needs work and updating. Balcony a plus. I recommend this hotel. Wardrobe/closet space incredibly spacious. Bed was comfortable too.

I took my 18 year old daughter for a night stay. The hotel is very tired and in desperate need of repair. We ate out the evening of our stay but we did have a lovely breakfast the next morning. You are paying five start money for a 3 star environment . To add to a disappointing visit we were... More

A magnificent building, with beautiful rooms which overlook busy Knightsbridge or glorious Hyde Park. Great restaurants and excellent service. A perfect place for business or pleasure travel. Bar Boulud is great for Lunch, but a little noisy.

Everything is perfect: the hotel location; the most comfortable bed and the staff just couldn't do more for us. This hotel has made my visit to London the most comfortable and memorable one. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel epitomises everything great about London, from The traditional English service & feel to modern amenities of a global standard. The service is very good from the moment you enter the hotel, and all communal areas from the restaurants to bars are fabulous places to see and be seen. The main breakfast room overlooks Hyde Park, so is a gentle... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
