Booking at any property of the Mandarin Oriental Hotels Group usually assures anybody a stress free, pampered, and expensive hotel stay experience. The MO Hyde Park is no exception. Located perfectly well for anybody with a shopping urge (Harrods and Harvey Nichols are on your doorstep ans so is Sloane Street), fitness urge (Hyde Park), culinary urge (Excellent dining in... The hotel is located in one of the best areas in London. The service is great and you feel welcome the minute you get in. The rooms are small and the cost of this hotel is very expensive and not a good value. I think in London most of the hotels are expensive and the rooms are equal to 4... More

Beautifully decorated, comfortable room, very friendly service. The price was high but for the area it's expected. You must go to Heston Blumentals restaurant whilst you stay here. Also check out the spa!

A timeless quality and a great location, coupled with their restaurant offerings, keep this 5* property in the frame. I have visited the hotel many times but never stayed till now, and whilst a lovely, relaxing experience, the refurb is probably needed, as most of the competing players have all undergone similar in recent years and the MO is perhaps... I booked this hotel at the last minute after another hotel screwed up my reservation. They were incredible. I was able to use the gym while they got my room situated, they schedule spa treatments to help me relax and gave me a special journal because I was on my way to a world trip. Beyond safe, kind and courtesy.... More

I have stayed in most of the 5-stars hotel in London (and in other capitals) but there is no place like Mandarin Oriental. I truly feel like at home when I am there, it is the number one recommendation I make to anybody travelling to London. I truly feel the personal link that you mentioned before in the survey. The... There are so many wonderful things about the Mandarin Oriental London - first off is the location - you couldn't get more central if you tried! The building is charming, the restaurants excellent and the spa divine!

Stayed here for a Saturday night and everything was perfect. Stayed in a junior suite which was a great size. The bar in the evening was great, good service and ambiance and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Hope to be lucky enough to stay here again some time.

Bringing the family to the Mandarin was a real treat. We booked interconnecting suites with incredible views over Knightsbridge. The kids absolutely loved the massive bed and bathrooms. From the moment we arrived we were treated like a rock star family...babysitters were organised at late notice, drinks on arrival, we got a great table at Bar Boulud and the on... More

London has several high-end hotels and I had the chance to try most of them. In my opinion, The Mandarin is one step ahead of the others and for several reasons: its excellent location, its beautiful building, the quality of its spa, bars and restaurants, the efficiency of its service, the discretion and helpfullness of its staff... I could go... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
