I had a two night stay here while I was moving in London and needed a place to sleep. The staff is very friendly and they upgraded me to a nicer room. The bed is really comfortable and I could stay in it all day long. There is also a tea kettle and peanut m&m's if you fancy a snack. The shower water gets nice and hot, perfect for a bath. Also the room temperature is great, and the air doesn't feel dry like many hotels. Overall, it's the perfect place if you're looking for a central location with supermarkets nearby and a good nights rest. The lighting could be a bit improved in the room, so it's not either too light/dark. Maybe an extra small lamp in the corner of 102. :) Love the room artwork. Thank you and would stay again.

Just stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights with friends. For price we paid it was well worth it. Lovely and clean. Staff very friendly. Continental breakfast in bakery next door was fresh and tasty. Definitely stay here again when in London .

Check in was slow as a new keyless system has been introduced and the front of house having to show guests how to operate the new keypad in lift/rooms. My friend was taken to his room which wasn’t made up and he swapped. My biggest frustration was the cost. A very average hotel and high cost. I paid over £100 more for a twin than my friends double. I understand supply, demand and location but I felt completely ripped off by booking.com and the hotel.

I live in London so it may seem weird I was staying in a hotel in London, but the idea was for my wife and I to have a romantic/peaceful night away from our 2 year old daughter (she stayed with the nanny). I had stayed once before at the hotel when it was recently refurbished but that was a long time ago and it certainly shows. The first room we were sent to had burn and stain marks all over the carpet so I asked for a new room. That room seemed ok, but as with the first the rooms for two people have a small double bed. Don't think it will be your best nights sleep. To make matters worse the residents of the room next door returned after 2am and clearly were under the influence of drink and drugs so for the next 3+ hours they didnt stop talking or moving around. The rooms have ZERO sound proofing so you can imagine what it was like. Only at 5am when my wife was stood in the hotel corridor pleading with them to be quiet and go to bed did the hotel take affirmative action and ask them to leave. Until that point they only thing the hotel had done as call up and ask them to be quiet. They were useless. When I complained I was then offered a complimentary upgrade and breakfast for the next time... which there definitely won't be. And the breakfast is a coffee and croissant from Gail's next door. Please avoid it... this dreadful experience cost me £200 for one night.

Dear agoldthorpe1972 Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely, Niccolo Consigli General Manager
