The hotel is in a very good location, was easy to get to by tube and taxi. Pub on the corner and the cafe next door are both worth a visit. Rooms were absolutely fine with little complain about apart from was unable to cool the room as I had to download an app to use the Bluetooth. Check in was quite slow as I had to enter my details myself on a laptop

I stay here often. All the things you read on Tripadvisor are true - the key code numbers are a pain, the bathrooms aren't always brilliantly laid out, the space is small, the floor boards creak and (most importantly for me as I avoid staying in the summer) the air con does not work! BUT all that said, when the prices are low, they are very cheap for the area and convenient for what I need. So I suck it up and sleep in a comfy bed with limited ground space and an open window. The management will continue to put replies saying 'they will take your comments on board and discuss with my team to see how we can better improve our product moving forward' but they won't. So decide if you want to stay based on price and information found on this website. It's up to you.

We stayed here for a night in December. Room was lovely, clean and had toiletries and complimentary tea/coffee. Our room was ready very early which was perfect and there is a Gail’s bakery right next door that was delicious. Great location, 10 min walk from Leicester Square and very close to two tube stops. In the soho area so perfect for restaurants bars and shows!

Not great. I had a single on an upper floor. It was clean and quiet, and it had a safe, but was really tiny. The bed was positioned directly under the vent, and since the air system wasn’t working very well, and the room got very hot, it wasn’t especially comfortable. The linens were kinda scratchy cotton. The bathroom was very tiny and not super user friendly, functional but not pleasant. There’s no real lobby or reception, more of an entry way. They give you a code for the building door, which also serves as your room key. There are no niceties in the room—not even a bottle of water, which is daily standard these days, especially at 4 star hotels. They sell bottled water in the entry. It didn’t feel like a 4-star to me.

£220 for the night through Hotel tonight. Room smelled, suspect people had been smoking in it. Combination code to access rooms and stairs - very inconvenient. No phone in room to call reception to explain how to get aircon working. Had to go back down and use combination code. Happily as bedroom door didn’t close properly on its own, I found my room unlocked on return, Bath didn’t keep water in. Sink wouldn’t drain. Every aspect of this hotel seems to have been the cheapest option available, and therefore much doesn’t work. Won’t be returning.

I stayed in a single room which had everything I needed. It had a super comfy 3/4 bed and for London it was a decent sized room. Close to the tube and shops . Beautifully clean. Lovely toiletries and decent towels and a hair dryer . I saw lots of ironing boards outside rooms. It was quiet too- even for central London . Check in was a bit challenging as it was online - luckily the reception staff helped and a free cookie for later . There’s a lift and left luggage. Went to Gail’s for breakfast- it would be good to have a discount but it’s one of my favourite bakeries so I’d go there anyway. The KeyCard worked to open the front door when I came back from a show. There were no reception staff there. There’s also a beauty treatment spa in the basement. Loved it 😊 Really enjoyed my stay and it ll be a hotel I’ll stay at again.

Prior to travelling I was emailed a form to fill out to ease registration. I hadn't checked my email so missed the form. It was a short walk from Euston but half way there there was a rainstorm that left me drenched. I got to the hotel reception and was asked whether I had filled out the form, and when I said no, rather than just register me she emailed the form again expecting me to fill it out on my phone while I was standing in front of her dripping wet. I did this but the form didn't work, so the receptionist tried on my phone herself (by now I am both cold and wet) and when she couldn't make it work she finally registered me on her computer. All of this lasted about 15 minutes. Entry to the room is by a key code that you type into the lock on the bedroom door. The corridors are dimly lit and the lock is set quite low so this was no easy task. The room was spartan and reminded me of the room you would have in a student hall of residence. The bathroom furniture and light fittings were like they were from the 1970s. This may have been by design but just looked old. For £260 per night I expected a lot more, even in central London!!

An excellent find, well priced for its central location with easy walking to central London sights and transport, good sized room by London standards (we had a superior double), comfortable bed. The cafe next door was a bonus. We'll stay again.

I'd like to say some positive things about the hotel, but I'm struggling. Our room had a flashing light outside on the fire escape. It flashed every 30 seconds all night, every night. I inquired about switching rooms, and was told the hotel was fully booked. I was credited for 1 night out of our 5 night stay, which was totally unacceptable, considering we were unable to sleep during our entire stay. In addition, the bathtub was so high that I had to hold on to anything I could grab onto so I didn't fall getting in. I am not a short person either. The bathtub was also outrageously slippery. In addition, it took me 5 minutes to turn on the shower every time I used it. I understand British showers are different, but I never had issues at any other hotel I've stayed in anywhere. The rooms are outrageously close to each other, in a very narrow hallway, so you hear every word from the other rooms. Last but not least, there was a 20 percent off deal which I asked to receive after I booked the hotel. They would not honor that, so I had to cancel and rebook to get the discount. There are far better hotels in the area in every respect!

Great place to stay in London, especially if you like walking around the city rather than travelling by public transport. We stayed in a superior double-room and it was spacious (by London hotel stnd), clean and quiet. The bathroom was decent size and the bed was comfortable. Still slightly confused by the ‘’new trend’’ that hotel rooms are not cleaned daily (and you have to pay extra to have that service if you want it cleaned more frequently than every 3 days at this establishment). Great option to have breakfast at the next door café, and extra plus for a good size in-room safe (easy to fit a couple of laptops and other bits and bobs)
