The Covent Garden Hotel is a paradise haven sitting in the main body of Covent Garden Sevendials The attentive and welcoming team in the lobby bar make this a ‘must visit’ location whenever I am in the area Mary and the bar team make you absolutely welcome in an environment that releases you from he hustle and bustle of the capital city Lunch, Afternoon tea and cocktails are a highlight of any day for the team here Love this place and the tranquillity it presents
I enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea today with my son in the hotel’s restaurant . Very plentiful and fresh and very good value compared with some of the bigger hotels . Very nice service too. The sandwiches were fresh and the scones were particularly delicious
All hotels should be this good and some are..mainly in Europe. The location is perfect, the service is even better and the rooms are Kip decorated. I come back to London just to stay here. You can walk most places or the staff will get you a cab. It's an understated oasis in the centre of London
This hotel is a hidden gem in the theatre district in London. We were in room 8 which was a great room with plenty of storage space and a very large bathroom with a double vanity. The staff was friendly and helpful. The two concierges, Arthur and Argosto, were terrific and made us great dinner reservations. The hotel is in a great neighborhood within walking distance of many theaters and restaurants. The breakfasts were great and try the English breakfast. This was a great boutique hotel with 53 rooms. I highly recommend it
I have been staying at the Covent Garden for over 20 years. For various reasons, periodically I’ve stayed at other places but Ari always come back to the Covent Garden for the impeccable service, beautiful rooms and great food. Nicky remember my me and my husband after 5 years! Like coming back home…
My husband and I stayed at the Covent Garden Hotel last month and had an amazing time. This charming hotel is conveniently located to Neil’s Yard, Covent Garden Market and great shops and restaurants. The staff made us feel like family- from H at the Concierge desk to Luca in the restaurant- they were wonderful. Can’t wait to go back!
We spent four nights at the hotel in early September. Everything was prefect including the spectacular decor, the quality of the bedding and in-room amenities, and the substantial and delicious breakfasts. But what really made our stay special was the friendly, professional, and caring service we received from every employee. We would especially like to thank Arthur who welcomed us warmly and continued to take good care of us throughout our visit. Augustino and Nicky were equally gracious and well informed as they assisted us with dinner reservations and ideas for sightseeing. Finally we would like to thank David from the restaurant who charmingly served us drinks in the evenings. This will be our hotel of choice when we return to London. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome and well cared for.…
There were six of us and had a most memorable experience due to the excellent food and efficient and courteous service from Luca, our server. The hostess who greeted us was very pleasant and professional. The tea sandwiches were very tasty, as were the scones and cakes. The presentation of the food on the compotiere was most attractive. On departure, Nicky at the door was courteous and personable. All in all, a special outing, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
As a writer, I've been blessed with having traveled all over the world. I have stayed in every type of accommodation, from Hostels to extreme luxury. Covent Garden Hotel was far and away the best overall experience I have ever had. Our arrival, me and my 83-year-old Mom, was anticipated, welcoming and we were made to feel like royalty from the moment we stepped out of our car and onto the property. Every staff member I spoke with told us how lucky they were to work there, which was reflected in every detail of the flawless service they provided. After a day out, walking back onto to property felt like coming home. Their dinner and entertainment recommendations were spot on. Because of the wonderful experience we had, we are looking into adding a few days to the end of our UK trip, just so we can return to the Covent Garden Hotel. A special shout-out to Mikey, Patricia, Agostinho, and Nicky for making this very special Mother-Daughter trip one we will never forget.…
High Points: the bedding with what have to be the best pillows and duvets in the City, the happy decor, the lighting, the bath amenities, the small gifts, and guest-floor fireplaces common rooms, the F&B area run by Renton who makes even NYC Crosby and Whitby have to step up for sure!, the breakfast bacon; Michel at the door who does almost anything for any guest (including running down the street in summer heat on the adjacent street to fetch taxis) Unique Points: Honor Bar with its own floor and ample comfortable sitting areas; the very dedicated staff uniquely work 12 hour shifts which gives guests a feeling of family-recognition coming and going (though that's a lot of consecutive hours); the international eclectic staff Low Points: the bathrooms have no heated towel racks, no tea kettle or coffee in room, the Daikin complicated thermostat control; the hotel's signature KK stemless water glasses get used for everything from water to fine wine and all beverages in-between; the outdoor area tables slant considerably on the street making dining a challenge; my bathroom amenities had no cotton bud swabs; the outside table service can get busy and understaffed at peak times on sunny days so prepare to NOT be in a hurry; bar scene could be happier and livelier with some music like Whitby…
