Went for charlie and the chocolate factory afternoon tea with champagne. Pros Charlie cocktail is made with dry ice and looks impressive Cakes served after sandwiches looked pretty including cute bottles of chocolate (don't eat too many sandwiches because pastries, cakes, candyfloss come out afterwards) Good location Cons Had said on arrival that I had a nut allergy....was served a... I took my granddaughter and her friend to the One Aldwych, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" afternoon tea. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish for the children and adults alike. The service is outstanding at every level and the food was to die for. The wonderful thing about this afternoon tea is it is an experience, everything... More

Perfect Location. Close to theaters and Covent Garden. Spotless room. Warm and friendly service. Love this hotel. Definitely our favorite hotel to stay in London, by far. Comfy beds and super cute robe and slippers for our little one

Have stayed hear before but as usual the service by all the staff was excellent, the rooms clean and the breakfast delicious. We used the pool/steam room and had a lovely complimentary facial. The situation of One Aldwych is fantastic being on the doorstep of Covent Garden and within walking distance of all manner of sites.

This was my second visit to the Lobby Bar at One Aldwych, and again it was the service that blew me away and sets it apart from most other places. The staff are just so courteous, friendly and professional and willing to accommodate. I have not had the pleasure of staying here, but it is high on my list and... More

The hotel was centrally located to everything we wanted to see while in London. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed spending time in Lounge at One. We felt like we were lounging in the comfort of our own home!!

We travelled to London for a three night break to celebrate a very special occasion and were delighted that One Aldwych acknowledged this and upgraded us to a wonderful deluxe room. A complimentary bottle of wine arrived shortly after we did and so our trip had a great start. The room was luxurious and so peaceful despite the city centre... More

location is PERFECT especially if you're there for a theatre weekend and its walking distance from Mayfair even though people think its quite a distance.. but we walked it in 20mins and its a lovely walk. The lounge BAr is also a lovely place to unwind- amazing cocktails

My second visit - I love this hotel. It is in the heart of everything; minutes from multiple theatres and restaurants and at least four tube stations. It is in the heart of London, but somehow maintains relaxing silence in the rooms. Amazing service to top it off.
