    Excellent service, location and organisation
We were moved to this Hotel as it's sister Hotel the Radisson Blue Edwardian Grafton was not yet open. The swap was handled effectively and swiftly. Using the on line concierge we were able to check in and chose rooms, and were notified that our rooms was actually ready at 11.30 on the day of check in, all we had to do was collect the keys . This obviously cuts down waiting, but with COVID compliance being at the forefront of peoples minds, it keeps lines short and face to face interaction to a minimum - Well done Radisson. There are multiple hand sanitiser dispensers on entry to the hotel, and at the lifts on each floor, we felt very safe in the hotel. The room was a twin, decent sized room at the rear ( it was very quiet) - It was well appointed and had everything you would expect from a 4* hotel, it was cleaned every day ( some hotels are not cleaning rooms daily ) and to a very high standard. The Bathroom was spacious, with a high quality shower and linens. The Hotel is in a really nice location 2 mins from the British Museum, 2 minutes to Oxford street and an easy walk to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, SOHO, Leicester Square. Transport links are good, with bus and tubes within an easy walk. Check out was also done remotely and effectively. Finally a thanks to the staff who were universally polite and friendly whenever they saw us. The overall quality of room, staff and location at the price we paid makes this a hard to beat option if you want to be in this area of London.
Dear Martin D, Thank you for kind words. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed every aspect of your stay and you appreciate the Health and Safety enhancement in our hotels. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future! Kind regards, Federica Maddaluno Reception Manager

    An okay stay
Stated for 1 night using my Expedia gold account for my wife’s birthday. Booked a premium king room on the 5th floor and was granted an early check in which was great. The room was facing the elevator so a lot of noise was coming our way and that was noticeable in the morning with the house keeping. No chance of a lay in. This was compounded with the outside drilling and works that kicked off around 8ish. Felt like our bed was in the middle of the works. Location wise it’s great as it’s right next to the British Museum and half a mile away from Covent Garden. The room itself was clean but tired. Very small for a premium room and the bathroom was a box. Bed was really comfortable and the pillows were great. We did not have breakfast as they were asking for £19 each so we just went to pret around the corner. One point to be made was on the evening we went to the front desk to ask for some tea bags, she took one look at the bar/kitchen and told us to go through there and ask someone. She clearly didn’t want to help. The place was jam packed and it felt completely lazy despite the front desk being dead! So we just went without! Probably wouldn’t come back again, described as a VIP option through Expedia but didn’t feel VIP despite the offer of £15 bar tab (which was welcome) which we mainly used up on service charge and the addition of a charity payment.

Better hotels in london for same price
Great location, clean hotel , Room was too small, online check in a waste of time , we arrived early and asked the hotel to hold our luggage including a suit bag, when we collected our luggage the suit bag had just been thrown in a cupboard and was even handed to us screwed up! When we mentioned it they did seem to grasp that there was a suit jacket and blouse inside ! The room was clean warm but a bit small, lunch in bloomsbury kitchen was limited , no nibbles served with drinks available at all. Breakfast 2 slices of toast between 4 people is not enough 1/2 a slice each and when we ask for another round we were told yes and it never materialised . Breakfast was basic we ordered 2 fried eggs on toast , eggs came up on plate 10 minutes before our 1/2 slice of toast each buffet, no eggs , very basic you can check out on line ! Nope again waste of time
Dear Jan2412, Thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback and for staying with us at The Radisson BLU Edwardian Bloomsbury Street Hotel. I am sorry to hear of the issues you experienced at Breakfast. I will highlight your feedback to our Food and Beverage Manager who I know will look closely at how we can improve our standards. I am sorry that you experienced certain problems during your check-in process and that the items inside the suite bag were wrinkled due to the mishandling. We appreciate all our guests’ feedback and will endeavour to make any changes that improve our guests’ experiences wherever possible. Should you like to discuss this matter any further, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Kind regards, Renata Ruiz Guest Relations Manager

The Back Office staff made sure that the experience was horrible. Perhaps they should ensure their facts before turning into a raving lunatic. Also, no apologies were offered, and I left deflated and disappointed with Radisson Blu. We only stay at Radisson. Also, no word was offered to assist with my rewards card....

Excellent hotel, very warm welcome, spotlessly clean everywhere and very helpful and friendly staff. We had a premium room which was a good size over looking Bloomsbury Street. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and all quiet at night. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was delicious and hopefully we will be going again so we can explore the menu more. Breakfast was a very nice buffet with one or two dishes off the menu brought to the table by the waiter. Good strength coffee and plenty of it was served in a large cafetiere.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel August 23-25 and August 28-29 this summer. It was our second stay at this hotel within the last 4 years. We were welcomed super warmly and immediately felt at home. The staff at the reception was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. I have no words to describe how they all, but the young lady by the name of Atifa in particular, were ready to go out of their way to make our time at the hotel a happy time. Thank you Atifa, thanks to your colleagues. Other than that the room was comfortable, the restaurant pleasant and providing good food and great, creative drinks. We loved the location, close to the Tottenham Court metro station and Elizabeth Line to Heathrow airport, within walking distance to the British Museum and many other places of interest. My only complaint would be that the 29 BPound price for the buffet breakfast is steep, quite a bit more than we've found elsewhere in Europe at comparable quality hotels. Although yes, they do provide some a la carte options.

Dear andrzejo1885, It is heartening to learn that you and your wife had such a memorable experience during your stay with us. Your warm words about our reception team, and particularly Atifa, are indeed encouraging. We strive to offer our guests a homely and comfortable environment, and it brings us immense joy to know that we were successful in our efforts. We are glad to know that you appreciated our convenient location in the heart of London. Indeed, our proximity to Tottenham Court Road station makes it easier for our guests to explore the city and its various attractions. As you mentioned, the academic charm of Bloomsbury, along with its rich literary history, adds to the overall appeal of our location. The British Museum, Covent Garden, Soho, and Fitzrovia are just a few of the attractions that our guests can easily access on foot from our hotel. Your feedback regarding the cost of our buffet breakfast has been noted. We continually strive to offer top-quality food and service, and we believe our pricing reflects this commitment. However, we understand that value for money is important to our guests and we will continue to review our pricing in line with our desire to offer the best possible experience. Once again, thank you for choosing us for your stay in London. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel in the near future. Best Regards, Bhavish Dhan Hoolash Team Leader

I vacationed to London as a first vacation in over a decade. I found the facilities top notch, the staff extremely professional AND friendly, and the location extremely convenient. Having stayed in hotels marketed as top tier, this hotel exceeded my expectations greatly. I would not hesitate to rebook another stay when in London!

I've been staying for 4 nights and it couldn't be any better. Location is very good, close to British Museum, in a quiet nice area, some minutes away from the subway, our room was quite big (we has a premium room), nice breakfast and, above all, I have to mention the staff. I would like to be able to name them all, to which I truely thank, but my special mention is for Arantxa from the reception and Alexandra from the restaurant. I would definitely come back!

I can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else. From the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out, we were made to feel so special, as if we were the only guests staying there. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The room was clean, and well equipped, with all the amenities that matter, and all to a good standard, the toiletteies were a very good quality too, and the location of this hotel is amazing, 10 mins walk from all the main tourist spots. We had the most amazing time, and this hotel was part of that amazing experience. Highly recommended .

We stayed here for one night for a Sunday break for a treat for my wife , early 50th birthday treat , when we settled into bed In The evening there was a loud noise that wouldn’t go away we called reception a member of staff came to room and said there was building work next door and they must have left something on , we was awake every half hour and it ruined the wk end the next day we went home early ,at checkout it was so busy I asked for a refund as was un satisfied , tired and miserable we could have stayed in cheaper hotels but saved to pay a bit more as special occasion we was offered 30 percent refund , not good enough given the circumstances, and reception was so busy I don’t want to argue and make myself more upset , it turns out when I investigated the noise In morn a broken air conditioning unit at the back of the property was making the horrendous noise , I know this can’t be helped but you don’t pay to try and sleep like you In the middle of the M25 , very upset with the whole experience as wasn’t a relaxing experience

beautiful hotel, close to a tube station, central. lobby and bar area beautifully decorated, very clean. Friendly , helpful staff. Lovely menu but not well catered for children, tho the restaurant did accommodate as best s possible. Bedroom was very tiny, clean but compact! The bathroom was very small in my room however my friends room had a great bathroom, so it may have just been my room.
