Stayed ta here over long periods of time during 2020/2021- however have been trying to book in 2020 and it seems to have been taken over (the whole hotel) as although its listed and advertised they won't take any more bookings. Why is it listed as available and all dates come up as "fully sold". It was my fave hotel- always smiling helpful staff and nice clean rooms
We had a lovely stay at the COMO The Halkin, the staff were so attentive and made our weekend extra special. We have already recommended the hotel to family and friends and would love to return again in the future. Our room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfy. We also enjoyed having a relaxing bubble bath with a glass of wine at the end of a busy day Christmas shopping!
Stayed at the Halkin for 9 nights. The location of the hotel is very good and convenient. Room very comfortable and nicely decorated. Bathroom was nice too. All the hotel staff I met were excellent. All of them were extremely helpful and courteous. Would definitely stay at the Halkin again.
Stayed in a junior suite. I found the rooms quite dull and oversimplistic. No art or Room decoration at all. The front desk manager stated that they leave shelfs empty so guests Can bring their own personal things and make the Room their own. Yes, but ok who brings their own art and vases from home, even if You were staying for more than Just a week!??! Weird Carpets were also tired and Dirty . They really needed a clean. Lovely Big marble bathroom. Another things is I dont like COMO’s own toiletry brand Shambhala. Smells Nice but poor quality shampoo/balsam. Truly poor quality. Thought the Room smelled a little old like stale smoke, an air purifier provided helped. In Room Dining was mediocre at max, enjoyed the cesar salad but all the other things were just acceptable. After 11pm they only served dry sandwiches for the same Price. Charm of this hotel is the staff. Most of Them warm and do their Best accommodate your requests, although some of Them bordering on being unprofessional, they tried their Best to be warm and hospitable.…
Exceptional hotel, great staff that were very friendly, greeted me by name whenever they saw me and couldn't do enough to help. Of particular note was when I added a couple of days on my reservation by booking a new room on their website. By the time I went down to reception, the associate had printed me a new key. He recognized me as I approached the desk and he handed my new key - all was taken care of.
We were lucky enough to be in a suite here for two nights and had an amazing time. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The suite was beautiful with a balcony and everything you could possibly want. The bar did fab cocktails and breakfast was superb. I could not fault anything and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, I will definitely return.
The Hulkin is fantastic and we were very much looking forward to staying there. But....Like everyone else, our travel plans were disrupted this spring due to covid. On cancelling our reservations the Halkin had zero interest in providing a refund or deferred credit even though we were cancelling months in advance. In fact they took payment in full immediately on making our reservation last fall!!! We will never stay there and we will make sure none of our friends stay there and we hope you don’t either. Whew I feel so much better now but.... still a few thousand dollars short of a fair deal !!!
This hotel is the best in London in my view. Stayed at MO/ Claridges/ The Berkley/ The Arch/ The Montcalm/ The Savoy/ Four Seasons/ Intercontinental/ The Mayfair etc etc., I have never had the pleasure to experience such personable hospitality and service in London hotels as here. Love how tranquil it is and busy London life is a stone's throw away. Rooms are very well insulated from sound too so your sleep will be guaranteed 100% restful.
My family and I stayed here for one night en route to Paris via the Eurostar. The service was fantastic and on par with any 5 star hotel. We were celebrating my husband’s and son’s birthday which was acknowledged. We were also upgraded to a Belgravia suite. They provided a lovely crib setup for our 2 year old. The breakfast included with our stay was served in room and was excellent. Location was good as it is on a quiet street but close enough to walk to the shopping area near Harrods and Hyde Park. Belgravia is a very posh and safe area. I would recommend to others to stay here as well.
Fabulous twist to the traditional afternoon tea, with a selection of savoury and sweet tapas. We did the “Champagne Flight” sampling three very different types. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely surroundings and not rushed. Would definitely recommend this and would do it again myself.
