Very nice friendly staff, we stayed in a junior suite which although was very nice required a spruce up on the detail. Tea & coffee facilities in the room would have been nice. Complimentary bar in the lounge area was a nice touch although we didn't use it.

This is a lovely small hotel in a quiet street in Kensington - very close to Harrods but away from the hustle & bustle around there. It feels, & certainly looks, from the outside like someone's elegant London home. We tied the competition win in with our visit to family in London. The staff were lovely & friendly and greeted... This hotel is very quiet and feels more like a private home. It's in a quiet street full of old Kensington mansions (turned apartments and hotels) but it retains the feel of poshness / luxury of another time. It even looks like a private home with none of the hotel flourishes outside. There is a comfortable foyer with sofas and... More

Just returned from our British Isles cruise & stayed an extra day in London @ The Beaufort. Very nice stay, great location with Harrods & many other restaurants within a block. Arrived early from our cruise & they let us check in early. Desk attendant helped print our Boarding passes. They also had free: water, soft drinks, beer & other... More

We just spent 8 nights in a junior suite at The Beaufort to explore London. The room was small but clean and very nice. Comfortable bed and pleasant view of tree lined street. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Knightsbridge Tube station was 0.4 miles away. A very comfortable stay...we loved it.

We were upgraded because of some mobility problems and our room was excellent. Would book it next time. Staff very helpful and friendly, complementary afternoon cream tea with scones, delicious. Would like something other than Pinot Grigio in the wine cabinet. Location near shops but in a quite square.

A very enjoyable one night stay in an unusual boutique hotel. The big asset of the hotel is its location in Knightsbridge with Harrods just a two-minute walk away. From the moment we arrived until we departed, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious (for London) and importantly, clean and well maintained. The bed was... More

Excellent location, five star service, friendly professional staff. Room I stayed in was tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and quiet. I liked complimentary cream tea on arrival, comfortable bed and breakfast served in a room. Such a treat! The price was a very nice surprise too - great discount.

This hotel is simply marvellous and will now become a go to when visiting London. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. The lounge area was relaxing with a good selection of newspapers and magazines. I was lucky enough to sample the afternoon tea, it was simply delicious, the scones were freshly baked and there... This is a wonderful, friendly, tastefully decorated boutique hotel in a great location. I was traveling for work and the staff were very helpful and courteous with information. I was upgraded when I arrived and the room was tasteful and with all the amenities I could have wanted. The hotel pays attention to details (a fresh orchid in my room)... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
