This is NOT a 4 stars hotel and this is why they do special offers. Look at the reviews on the google where i left a review as well. I confirm all these bad reviews regarding this hotel. I spent 3 nights in this hotel and never ever going back there!

Rooms aren’t bad but a few points I noticed and I thought were disappointing, the stairs are horrendous everything is compact, doors are dirty and light switches they need cleaned, no tea and coffee in room which is disappointing as I don’t want to have to do the stair to get or with a cup of coffee and our room was through to many doors to get the lift which incidentally wasn’t available a couple of times and is still quite a bit and many doors from our room. Our bathroom had plain glass so had to close the blind every time I needed the loo. On a positive white company shampoo etc is good, air on is good water if u traipse down to reception is goodish, the carpet gets your eyes after so many flights of stairs have to admit, the cul de sac is nice and leafy for London, the staff very friendly and kind of made up for the rest, breakfast another £16.75 is a bit much after paying over £200 for room. Would I stay again not sure as there are other options with breakfast and less stairs.

The room was booked as part of a 70th birthday treat. One of the things that lead to the choice of this hotel was the offer of a complimentary cream tea and complimentary chocolates in the room. So we were very disappointed to find that, apart from the usual toiletries, all that was on offer was what can only be described as one budget pack of 3 bourbon biscuits! Between two people? Furthermore there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, guests are expected to make themselves a hot drink in the reception area and run the risk of scalding transporting it back to the room. When questioned about the lack of cream tea we were told they no longer offered it! By means of compensation for our disappointment we were offered a complimentary breakfast, which they offer at a cost of over £16pp. What arrived was a joke! The croissants were overbaked, stale and inedible. Had they been edible there were no plates from which to eat them. The fruit salad was best described as ok. Certainly not £33 worth of breakfast! To add insult to injury guests are invited to complete a card in their rooms inviting comments on the amenities offered, the non existent complimentary cream tea being one of them. Over a month later I see it still features on their website.

My family and I stayed at The Beaufort hotel this summer and it was the most delightful experience. Not only was the service impeccable, the hotel is simply stunning and despite being located in a prime location, around the corner from Harrods, the street was quiet and relaxing. Having booked two rooms, we were placed on a floor that created somewhat of a private apartment feel with only the two rooms being located on that floor. Our wide breakfast spread was delivered to our room each morning at our desired times and we had access to unlimited tea and coffee, & drinks from the mini bar located at the reception. We definitely will be returning to The Beaufort on our next trip, and look forward to doing so. Thank you to Isabella and her team for taking such good care of us, we had a wonderful stay.

We tried this hotel as my husband had stayed here many years ago and thought it was a lovely place. It is in a great area on a very quiet street but still close to everything. HOWEVER, it is very tired, old worn furniture, carpet pad so old it's now flat and the rooms are not at all as depicted in the pictures. We had two rooms and neither was acceptable. We stayed only one night. We left and checked into our regular hotel for the remainder of our stay. The air conditioning didn't work in either room however around midnight the night clerk said he knew the trick to get one working. Still that left one room steamy and uncomfortable. Very little water pressure in the shower. Doors don't lock properly. One towel each and the refreshments in the lobby were minimal. The staff here were very nice and tried to act like all was good but it seriously needs a refurbishment or else drop the hotel to 2 Star and adjust the price accordingly for those who may want to take a chance.

I booked this hotel 3 months ago because of it’s location and because it was a 4 star hotel with reviews giving it a high score. When checking in yesterday I was very disappointed, chaos in the “reception” - a small desk in a room similar to a living room in a private home. The hotel has one - ONE - elevator, a really old one with capacity of one person, but you can’t use the elevator for all rooms, I had to climb several stairs, manoeuvre through a labyrinth of corridors, doors and stairs to relax my room in the third floor. The room has wall to wall carpet, at least 20’years old, the air in the room is bad - you taste the dust when you breathe. No main switch for the lights, you have to turn on and off 15 separate lamps. An old worn out bathroom. A noisy air-condition, the telephone is out of order, a loud noise from the water pipes when someone in neighbouring rooms take a shower, you are advised not to drink the water from the taps. No restaurant, but you can order a breakfast for 16,5 £ , but it was almost no food included ... a cup of coffe, a yoghurt, a couple very thin toasts and two small boxes with jam. Very disappointing. It’s in fact not more than a 2-star hotel if this class exist

We were placed in a room in the basement that was clearly a maintenance area. Lots of loud noises from members of staff constantly letting doors bang and having inappropriate conversations outside our door and window. Staff in the morning would also have loud conversations right outside our door! We had to ask one to take the conversation elsewhere. He simply found it amusing and walked away. To get to our room we also had to walk through a corridor that was full of maintenance equipment and was very unsightly. When we spoke to the members of staff on reception they showed little concern and after a moment of silence said just 'sorry'. We did not feel like valued customers. This experienced marred what was otherwise a nice stay in London.

Initially put me in a dark, dusty basement room (4) next to what can only be described as a building site. Loud drilling, piles of pictures stacked up on the corridor floor and you could either close the curtains (great, dark, hot and dusty) or open them and have the knocked out window opposite looking straight into your room. As a lone female traveler, not great. When I complained they moved me to a nicer room on the second floor. Windows need replacement, blinds broken, phone broken but clean and very comfortable bed. No bed side table which is inconvenient for someone who wears glasses. Tried not to think of how hard this building would be to evacuate in a fire. I’m sure it’s legal but no exit designs and just not great practising how many flights you’d stumble down. Loo in room is up two steps which would benefit from contrast tape. Window in loo broken. A great location but at £199 a night excluding breakfast- a major rip off. Friendly, helpful staff - spend some cash on this place and upgrade your health and safety and that would make all the difference in the world. And don’t expect to rent out rooms in the midst of a building site, it’s insulting and shoddy.

We stayed here for 1 night and had 2 rooms. A double & a single. Hotel is on a nice, quiet street & a very short walking distance from harrods. The reception area was welcoming although very hot. We had the two rooms on the ground floor. They did say we'd been upgraded to a double & deluxe room but not sure how true that was. Bigger room was a very good size and smaller was decent for one person. Single room - right by the reception area so can hear any noise. I don't have an issue with it myself but others might. Air con was old & not very powerful but it just about did the trick. Furniture was rubbish mdf (not high quality like they make out) and very very worn out. Doors were scuffed and had dirty marks on them. Carpet looked a bit dirty. Bathroom fixture were peeling & had limescale. The worst was the shower head. It had weird gunk around the nozzle holes. It was vile. Made me feel icky. I used the one in the other room because i couldn't bring myself to use it. However the rest of the bathroom was clean as was the room. So no dust or crumbs etc. Bed had a really noisy mattress protector. No tea/coffee facilities in the room although complimentary water and soft drinks available in reception to help yourself at any time. Bigger room was in better condition and not so badly tired looking. Staff we met were nice Overall for the price it was ok and i would stay again for a very short period of time IF they sort the limescale out
