This friendly, attractive boutique hotel enjoys a peaceful location in a tree-lined cul-de-sac just a few minutes walk from the famous department store Harrods and Hyde Park. Direct link from Heathrow airport. All 29 bedrooms have air-conditioning and have been thoughtfully furnished. Wifi complimentary, and 24 hours soft drinks available free of charge together with afternoon cream tea with home baked scones.
A real find. An hotel superbly sited for shops, attractions and transport. Very clean, staff extremely helpful. As stated on the web the situation is quiet in a residential square.
Our room was immaculate not a trace of skimping for the value offered, far superior to the impersonal ambience of a large chain hotel for the money paid and quite frankly why pay through the nose for a liveried doorman
Wedding Anniversary Stay . Just wonderful and very relaxing
Stayed just a night but wished we’d stayed longer . Had a de luxe room on 5 th floor . Lovely quiet part of London in a lovely old building . Tastefully decorated. Lovely ambience with soft music playing . It’s a small boutique hotel with none of the noise of one of the big ones ... Our room had a nice view . Very comfortable bed . Nice linen . I know there is not kettle but they’ll bring you a tray of tea or coffee at anytime . Served nicely , with china cups . Delicious tea ... We had the complementary cream tea which had perfectly cooked scones .. What a luxury to be served breakfast in your room . A real treat . We both had a really lovely cheese / tomatoe omelette. Freshly made and hot . So many thanks to everyone at the hotel who made our stay to enjoyable . They also looked after our bag after check out so we could go to an exhibition .
So I never actually write reviews but I booked this for me and my boyfriend as we was staying in london for his 21st and it was a good location, after booking I went online and got abit worried with the reviews… honestly have no idea what people are talking about??? The hotel is in such a nice area and the lobby is super cute. The receptionist was really lovely and we was offered cream teas and unlimited supply of soft drinks on arrival, the room was a traditional boutique type hotel room nice and clean and just overall lovely? Some people just clearly can’t be pleased and want to have something to moan about !!! Would stay again and would recommend. I had to write a review as after staying I thought the reviews were really harsh and someone needed to let people know it’s actually a nice place.

We loved staying at the Beaufort! It was so charming, and the staff was very accommodating, letting us leave our luggage at the hotel while we explored London since our rooms weren’t ready yet. Great afternoon tea service, we loved that both days we stayed. The AC in the room we had when we arrived wasn’t working 100%, so they graciously found us a new room that was nice and cool. It was really hot in London while we stayed so this was very nice! Just loved staying here!

Images and description of room are very misleading. The location sold it but not worth paying for a room in a dungeon. Your view is of the A/C unit and the supposed complimentary wifi doesn’t reach your room! The so called airport transfer for £50 pound doesn’t exist and the staff could hardly speak English. Would never stay again. (See attached the lovely view from behind the blinds)

Dear EllieSwann, I’m sorry the hotel fell short of your expectations. If you had mentioned to the receptionist on your arrival date that you are not happy with your room , she would have allocated you to a different room. If complaints are received during a stay rather than after departure, we can try to rectify the problem if possible. Please note that we do not offer £50 airport transfer, please contact your online travel agent you booked with. Nonetheless, your feedback is important to us since we always strive to provide good standards of service. Kind Regards, Izabella

Nothing like the images online. Nothing like the profile the hotel advertises. Very small rooms , you feel like a rat inside a nest. For people with claustrophobia DO NOT choose this place. Never seen smaller room in my life. Non existent breakfast. A cup of tea and a tiny croissant is not a charged Breakfast. It is a shame. Super expensive. 870 pounds NO VALUE for money. Never again. A broken lift from the 19th century hardly functioning . I should have checked reviews before I booked there. Really not worth it. The only good things about this place is the staff. Wonderful people , polite and the cleanliness. Apart from that, a disaster

I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience during your stay at the Beaufort Hotel. Any kind of feedback is always gratefully received, as it assists us in monitoring the service we provide and helps us seek to find improvement wherever necessary. I'm sorry to hear that our rooms failed to meet your expectations, and you felt misled by the photos of our rooms. Please note that we have a range of room categories to choose from , that are all different sizes . Our pricing is comparable to other hotels in the Knightsbridge area, but clearly this was not your impression and for that I apologise. The bill you received was £756.00, not the £870 that was mentioned in your post. I am sorry for the poor quality of the breakfast we provided. This is not the standard we offer and I will certainly investigate with my staff. If you would like to contact me directly on izabella@thebeaufort.co.uk we can discuss this further . We are happy to hear that you have found our staff polite and rooms clean. I am very sorry that your experience was not as positive as many of our guests but thank you for sharing this with us and highlighting areas where improvement may be found.

Disappointed. Very disappointed. But great location The hotel looked tired upon arrival with peeling paint. The receptionist told us we had a free room upgrade and complimentary drinks. I asked for a beer and was told there was no alcohol and no bar. I went to a shop and bought us some wine, but there was no fridge in the room either. We went to the room and we were downstairs in the basement. Our one window looked into a tiny courtyard with a ladder and a vent. The window didn’t open and the aircon didn’t work. The bathroom had holes in the tiling. I can’t understand why there is no kettle or tea making facilities in the rooms. For a £400 a night hotel, this is dumbfounding. We did get tea bought down to the room, but I had to get dressed to go and ask the receptionist. The room was averagely sized and the bed was comfortable. It still wasn’t worth over £400 even with the upgrade. The location is fantastic. A stones throw from Harrod’s We won’t be back.…

Really enjoyed our one night stay here .. Location was great .. Room was clean spacious and comfortable. There isn't a bar or restaurant in the hotel and I believe breakfast is brought to your room but we chose to eat out. Free bottles of water and soft drinks are available throughout your stay which is a nice touch. Would stay again if in the area.

The hotel is very nice, has a pleasant atmosphere, is well arranged in a typical English style. The zone is perfect: one of the most elegant in London (closed to Harrods and Hyde Park) and comfortable to reach the most important places. The rooms are cosy, very clean and the beds are super comfortable (I slept in two different rooms and both of them very very good). The hotel offers water/ coffee/tea and other drinks without limits - really appreciable. The staff of the hotel (all the staff) is super gentle, helpful and positive; they can manage everything and solve any question/need with a smile. I do recommend it!

I read many of the reviews and thought the negative ones unfair. I stayed 8 days and found the staff very helpful. The linens were excellent big bath sheets too. The bathroom was nicely appointed and clean. By US standards the rooms are small but the value is excellent in a pricey part of London next door to Harrods. Bed and pillows comfortable.

Not as bad as some reviews accredited . Whilst not perfect eg you need to account for lift speeds up and down of half a day , kidding but it’s slow and of a tiny staff force juggling between the needs of many . Despite in being in a quintessential SW district not much of an English accent could be heard although the decor did make up for it . Location is its plus point . Views are not the best or At least the one I was given , but the staff will do their best to accommodate changes and requests including helping me to heat up ready to eat dinner pack I had brought back after a tiring days walk. There were many reasons to demand more from the price tag but given how accommodative the staff were I felt it necessary to ignore drawbacks and focus on the good points and in so doing I’ll label my review as “ Satisfactory “…

As a solo traveller, I chose this hotel because of its location in a well heeled part of London - mistakenly assuming a safe and quality experience awaited. Far from it; I felt very vulnerable walking into the poky reception staffed entirely by almost monosyllabic men. The locks for the rooms were poor, carpets dirty (was that blood on the left hand side of the bed?) and decor badly in need of an update. I had a business meeting the following morning and barely slept as the whole place felt distinctly sketchy.

Paying £200 per night for the level of the room is far too expensive. Bathroom - Mould in bathroom, shower leaking, mould on the slip mat Bedroom - Window broken and difficult to open, it also led to an open area which I wasn't aware of and had ladders in, I just didn't feel very safe. No coffee making facility in the room which whilst they are in reception is not ideal late at night when you want a cup of tea. I think the hotel is very dated and needs a revamp and your prices should reflect that.
