Terrific hotel! Staff was very helpful getting us settled and giving us directions for site seeing. Great location, steps from the tube, centrally located for easy walks to sites! Will definitely return.

It looks great inside and out, shiny floors, velvet, supercars parked out the front, nice rooms and in a good location. Is expensive but worth it. Been twice and loved both. Only criticism is that some rooms are massive and others are smaller, the first time i had tv in bath and a shower. The second time it did not...

Having stayed here several times we are always pleased that the levels of service, staff, rooms etc are always what you would expect from a 5* hotel in Mayfair. It's in a wonderful position to do some serious shopping, and always a pleasure to return to. We consider ourselves well travelled and pretty fussy when it comes to this level...

Very poor hotel. I have had miles better rooms at a travel lodge. The room was bland, very basic, to the point there wasn't even a mirror in the bedroom. The Bathroom was cold, floor was dangerous, mouldy mastic, chipped fittings ,,,,, and to top it off could even get breakfast after paying £24 each,,,,, terrible customer service. Don't waste...

A friend and I stayed here for a Christmas shopping day after having been out the night before for drinks. We arrived for a late check in and were swiftly checked in. Our room had a king size bed and was large enough for two people, clean and nicely decorated - although why do hotels use so much black everywhere...

I am a very frequent traveller for business and stayed at the May Fair Hotel in December 2016. I tend to stay in high end luxury hotels, and my "go to" hotel in London is the Berkeley in Knightsbridge. I chose The May Fair based on its proximity to the parks and The Lansdowne Club AND we had a decent...

The staff are always very welcoming, hotel has such an lovely elegant feel. We had a Superior room which was lovely, spacious and welcoming. We have stayed quite a few times before and have always had a great experience. The location is good, just off Piccadilly, 5 minutes to Fortnum and Masons. Not far from Green Park for a lovely...

A really fantastic hotel, that has modern interior, yet still manages to maintain a traditional and cosy atmosphere. The location is perfect, close to many places you'd want to visit, and right next to Green Park Station for underground service. My room was very spacious, and had a large bathroom. I very much enjoyed my stay here, and would stay...

My husband booked a weekend in London for the two of us to do some shopping and see the Christmas lights. The hotel is very central and the location was good. We booked a deluxe room but were very underwhelmed. The decor is bland and beige. The beds and pillows are very comfortable but there are no nice finishes like,...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
