This was our first time staying at the Savoy and it was extra special because it was for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. Every aspect of our stay was amazing and the view from our river view suite was breathtaking. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. Sebastian our Butler was fantastic and attended to our needs. When we arrived in our room he offered us champagne and the extra touches throughout the room which were so special, including a personalised note wishing us a happy anniversary. My husband order roses for me and they were stunning! Sebastian served our breakfast in our room and the view and food was something we will always remember. We dined in The River Restaurant and The Savoy Grill both were sensational. The menus offer a variety of dishes and each one we ordered tasted wonderful. We also went to the American Bar for a cocktail and this did not disappoint. The live music creates a great ambiance too. The turn down was beautiful with a heart shape made out of rose petals, champagne and strawberries. We had the most amazing time and the Savoy will hold special memories for us. Thank you to all the staff for making our anniversary extra special!…
We visited the Savoy for a 1 night stay to celebrate my 30th birthday. What an experience. From our arrival to departure we had an absolutely amazing experience. The staff are so friendly and work so hard to provide such an amazing 5 star service. Our room was absolutely beautiful - the most comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in! We never wanted to leave. The American bar does some amazing cocktails! Our overall experience was a solid 10 out of 10. Thank you for making my 30th birthday so special! We will be back!!!
We just had the most amazing stay at The Savoy. We were upgraded to the Katherine Hepburn suite. It is the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The view was breathtaking. We were so comfortable, we didn’t want to leave. The Savoy made a great vacation phenomenal
This is my 6th stay at the hotel and it just keeps getting better. The staff are exceptional and the hotel itself is more beautiful than ever. Everything is immaculate and nothing is too much trouble. If you are looking for the ultimate London City break then look no further than the beautiful Savoy.
From the moment I walked in the door this was a special hotel. Beautiful building in a great location, with spectacular interiors and history. From check in to the cleaners, everyone I met was friendly, warm and professional. The room was very comfortable, with a partial river view and a spacious and well-equipped bathroom. I like the use of dispensers rather than all single use soap (& the Clarins product). The pool was great, with the jet stream making it a challenge to get some exercise. Breakfast in the River Room was excellent. Of course it’s all expensive but enjoy it!
Disappointed by a beautiful hotel lowering standards and becoming a cheap 5 star hotel. Serious problems with restaurants, housekeeping, room service. Rooms with dated beds, carpets, etc., a lot of employees that crowd certain areas but do not add value.
Fantastic Silver Wedding Anniversary treat. The staff were attentive to every detail & nothing was too much trouble. We were spoiled with Silver balloons, handwritten notes, chocolates, patisserie & good wishes throughout the stay. We felt very welcome & comfortable. Our every need was met, often anticipated before we even knew it! Te atmosphere was inclusive & welcoming, not at all stuffy or over-bearing. It was such a wonderful experience, we can’t wait to go back in the hopefully, not too distant future!
I cannot put into words the amazing feeling you have walking down to The Savoy and being welcomed in to the hotel. The stay was incredible, great service, lovely room and amazing food. Thanks to all the staff that we met, you were amazing.
Amazing experience of afternoon tea at the savoy for my mums 60th birthday. Staff were so friendly and attentive, going out of their way to accommodate. Nice added touch for the birthdays and anniversaries. Pianist was amazing and set a lovely atmosphere. Was a great treat.
Pleasant stay, front of house staff great and the breakfast is lovely the staff at breakfast are great they make you feel welcome and they always have a smile on their faces. The savoy grill could learn allot from the customer service standard compared to theirs as its worlds apart if Gordon Ramsey comes across on tv like he sets the standard really high when in fact it appears he puts his name on things then expects that to carry them through. This is not a reflection on the hotel as the hotel has been exceptional and we plan to return for Christmas.
