Nice room with beds enough for a family of five, shelves for gear, roomy bathroom, big breakfast, great location, excellent staff, lounge with library of books and computers, access to another bathroom on main floor a plus for this family of five. We'd love to come back.

Good location - near British museum (underground stations nearby, you can also walk to the "center"), very friendly staff and breakfast included (cereals, ham & eggs, jam & butter). A bit small room and bed, but comfortable, OK for travellers.

The Ridgemount is run by friendly, helpful people. It is in a safe neighborhood that is close to all types of transportation, restaurants, pubs, and shops. The full English breakfast is included in the room price and it is delicious. The rooms are somewhat small, but we didn't come to London to sit in our hotel room so we had...

I stayed for 5 nights in a single room at the Ridgemount, and can recommend this place to anyone looking for a good budget B&B. The location is great, close to Tube stations and in a nice neighbourhood. They kindly gave me a room overlooking the garden, so there was no traffic noise. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean, and...

I loved our stay here. The couple that run the place were extremely nice and very helpful with any questions we had - as were the other staff. The breakfast ladies (who double as cleaning staff once breakfast is cleared) are very efficient and fast. Room was nice, clean and comfortable - but there are no lifts, so you'll have...

First of all I'd like to say "Thank you!" to the whole hotel family that made our stay so nice and pleasant! I was a little bit worried about shared bathrooms when booking this hotel, but it didn't bother us at all! Everything is clean and accessible almost at any time. English breakfast included was fully satisfying with the quality...

Simple hotel but, for the price, perfect for what I wanted. Clean room, polite staff, modern toilet and shower with hot water and good pressure. I'd happily stay here again if I needed another business stay-over.

We stayed here for one night - after arriving from Barcelona one day and heading home to the States the next. Compared to other hotels in the area, Ridgemount is very economical. It is not a luxury hotel. The rooms are old, the bathrooms are dated, the carpet is shabby. BUT - everything is very clean, the staff is extremely...

Very nice family hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, they make it feel like home. Very clean, within walking distance of the West End and St. Pancras station. Great breakfast, very efficient management. Nice little garden to relax in in Summer.

Did not need to use the underground while saying here. Just walked everywhere; camden, buckingham, etc etc. Quiet street yet very central location. British museum is right around the corner. The breakfast got you going but was no taste sensation.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
