Nothing to fault about our 1 night stay. The fluffiest towels I’ve ever had in any hotel. Bed pillows and bedding gave us a great nights sleep. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of choice & everything was perfectly cooked and fresh. The pancakes were as good as my granny made. Service was friendly and helpful

loved the deep tub for hot relaxing bath. i arrived late at night in the rain after exhausting journey. staff was friendly, room was warm and snug and comfy. hot grilled cheddar cheese sandwich was so good i ate 3 of them in 2 days. plenty good food, awesome location. hotel is right across from world famous Hyde park and right on the hop on hop off tour bus line. good price, good time, i was so pleased and saved my money for shopping in London. no regrets at all.

The hotel itself has a charming, old time feel and a beautiful location by Kensington Palace Gardens/Hyde Park. What really made our stay great though was the staff who were friendly, warm and professional. From Aysha’s warm welcome in the breakfast lounge, Maurizio’s friendly banter in the evenings and Stacey and Kris’ long talks with our daughter, everything made it feel like a home away from home. We came for a couple of weeks and ended up staying almost two months. You could say the breakfast could have some more options or that the heated towel rails in the bathrooms don’t work, but when everyone was cancelling bookings due to covid19 this team kept the place running smoothly and delivered exceptional service.

This hotel is right across from Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. Very nice room, great location, near subway stations. Easy access to all London attractions. Very near our daughter and son-in-law's flat.

In an area of London that usually offers "dog boxes" as room this is an old elegant and spacious hotel. Staff are always friendly. They recognise me as a regular guest and try and upgrade me every time I stay with them.

I had stayed in thistle Hyde park in third week of feb'20. The hotel room was quite nice with all key facilities. the major attraction of this hotel is Hyde park and the best part is that its just opposite to the hotel.During my trip had an unfortunate knee accident while I was coming back from office. I reached back hotel and staff at reception immediately helped me by doing first aid and dressing for my wound. Next day they kindly helped me in bringing medicines, assisting in bringing breakfast to room and also assisted me in packing luggage. Further they even extended my checkout and didn't charge a dime for it. I was amazed with the hospitality and excellent service provided by such a welcoming staff. They all are so lovely to talk and even with this unfortunate accident I did not face much hassle as they all assisted me a big smile. I would certainly recommend the hospitality of the hotel and for me its an awesome place to stay in central london…

I dont generally write reviews but i thought i must for this. Had 3 different rooms in 48 hours, first room the shower handle broke and water was going everywhere, second room was to shower in which was ok, third room the tv was hanging off the wall and down, there was something crawling on the shower sile, the shower would change from hot to cold every 30 seconds or so. Location is good 5 minute drive from marble arch. Management handled everything well cant blame them for the state of the rooms.

We booked into The Thistle Hotel, Lancaster Gate, because of the location and the fact that it was cheaper than a Premier Inn! Once booked I later looked at the reviews and was concerned to notice that they were, overall, quite poor. So with some trepidation we arrived (extra early due to appointments) with our friends and found the welcome to be friendly, professional and helpful! The rooms were spotless, comfortable and the bathroom spacious. We stay in London fairly frequently and other hotels are far more expensive, and sometimes a little too formal... Thank you for making our stay such a good one
