This hotel is great, it's a 5 min walk from Holborn so a fantastic central location and the hotel was lovely. Clean & comfortable rooms, quite modern our room had a teapot which is a winner for me! Heated towel rail and a decent hair dryer. Breakfast was nice and was until 11am on weekend. The staff were very friendly....

Second visit to The Kingsley, Thistle Holborn and have to say i really enjoyed this stay. Obviously you get what you pay for and as a result of a problem with last years booking, (not the hotels fault), we were very kindly offered a room at a reduced rate which turned out to be a fabulous room, so thankyou for...

The room was very clean and very pleasant but overlooked an alleyway facing a pub and not far from the main street. The noise was constant and throughout the night we were woken by the noise of the traffic from the street

Dear Ian B, Thank you for your review. We are pleased you enjoyed our room facilities however we were disappointed to hear you were disturbed by noise from outside. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused to your stay with us. Being situated on a busy central London street does not help but we do have...

the hotel was in an excellent location. The staff and their attention to detail was very good. Breakfast was also good. Asked for a quiet room with a view and we were on the sixth floor. Would return again.

First time at the Kingsley, definitely exceeded expectations - good value, great location, superb staff who were really welcoming. Small enough to feel cosy and personal, excellent rooms, was upgraded on arrival to executive which was lovely large room, new furnishings, very clean. Left dressing gown in room after checking out and hotel returned the gown by post, which was...

Just finished a 6-night stay in early Oct with a young toddler. The room could fit a playpen but there was limited space left after that. Housekeeping is average. Found tea-stains on a cup once, and sheets were not changed throughout the stay until we requested for it. No mid day turn down. The bathroom was adequate in size, and...

A wonderful 2 nights stay. Clean room, good breakfast and friendly staff from beginning to end. Location great for theatres (walked to and from Queens Shaftsbury easily) and Holborn gives quick access to Oxford St. Will definitely use again.

My wife and I found The Kingsley to be a fantastic find for our 4-day visit to London. Location is absolutely wonderful. Located in the Bloomsbury neighborhood, it's a 5 minute walk to the British Museum or the Holborn tube station and an easy, interesting and safe walk to Covent Garden (10-15 minutes). The hotel is updated, clean and everything...

Great location close to Holborn tube station and bus to Victoria station straight across the road. Room size was ok for the 2 of us. No view from the window, bed was clean and comfortable. Room needed a good vacuum and dusting. The hairdryer over heated within seconds of use. The tv remote could n't be used to turn on...

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
