Needless to say, no contact was made to us throughout our 2 nights there which is simply bad manners and lack of consideration to paying guests... Hotel staff (maintenance and front desk) entered our room without warning at 8am on a Sunday morning while we were jet-lagged and enjoying a lie in... It appeared they believed we were smoking in the room and wanted to catch us in the act - neither of us smokes...

Our stay at this hotel was just disappointment after disappointment. We first were told our room wouldn’t be ready on time after a long day of travelling... The room we were given required us to go up stairs, down a hallway DOWN a different staircase and along another call... We got to our room to find a cracked ceiling, no mini fridge and hair in the drains... The sheets were stained and the room was tiny... And to top it off, a cleaner walked into the room while I was changing without knocking...

Unfortunately I was highly disappointed with my stay. The room was exceptionally small for two people sharing, dark and dingy... If you are sharing a twin room I would not recommend this hotel...

They said they’d need to check the room despite the fact that another member of staff had already been to check and let me into the other room... Absolutely shocking for £150 a night room!...

I stayed one night in mid-December 2022 in a twin bed room. This hotel is a perfect loction for Covent Garden, West End theatres, Shaftesbury Avenue, Holborn....you've got a less than 10 minute walk to Covent Garden and the Royal Opera House, and from there, you can hit all the key theatreland areas... The room wasn't huge, but big enough for a 1-5 night stay - after all, you're really not spending much time in the room if you're sightseeing... The fact they have a luggage storage room is brilliant, and it's free too...

...And in case the problem couldn't be fixed, they would book us another hotel... They booked us to the Hard Rock Hotel (which was a lot more expensive) without additional costs... They also informed the hotel about our arrival and everything went smooth...

...However the rooms need renovation, there are only one blanket to share, and our overview is that there is room for improvement for both cleaning and making sure things are working in the rooms...

Alos 10 min was to Covent Garden and 15 mins to Leicester Square...

We booked the hotel for one night and when we wanted to check in, the manager informed us that they had a problem with the gas and had to evacuate the building for safety reasons. They said we can store our lugagge and come back in the evening if we wanted to... And in case the problem couldn't be fixed, they would book us another hotel... When we came back later in the evening, they said the gas problem was fixed, but they don't have hot water... They booked us to the Hard Rock Hotel (which was a lot more expensive) without additional costs... They also informed the hotel about our arrival and everything went smooth... Despite the problems in the beginning, the hotel is rated as very good because they helped us immediately and made the best out of the situation...

There’s a nice bar in the lobby/entrance area serving draught Guinness and Becks, nice place to drop in for a drink before heading out or after a long day... I had booked a single room through our corporate booking system which was small, as expected but perfectly fine for my needs and well equipped including air conditioning system which came in handy as the size of the room meant it was really hot at certain times... The bathroom was small too but in proportion to the size of the room and shower was nice and hot with plenty of pressure... The room was situated on the first floor and was very quiet with very little noise from outside... All of the staff were polite, friendly and extremely helpful... I would recommend this hotel and certainly will consider staying again...

...It is centrally located in London: Oxford street and Covent Garden area at walking distance. Bus stop in front of the house and across the street... In the room you get 2 bottles of water (still and sparkling) per day and a kettle with tea & coffee, sugar and cream portions on choice... Narrow hallways lead to the rooms, several doors and carpets minimize noises... It was ok in size, not big, but enough for a city trip... As it was Winter, I can tell the room was well heated... I did not take the breakfast but my mom did and she said it was good... I recommend this place and would book this hotel again...

...This hotel is a perfect loction for Covent Garden, West End theatres, Shaftesbury Avenue, Holborn....you've got a less than 10 minute walk to Covent Garden and the Royal Opera House, and from there, you can hit all the key theatreland areas. The breakfast was good, the staff were really friendly and pleasant... They looked after our luggage as we checked out at the right time, but wanted to spend most of that day doing more shopping... The fact they have a luggage storage room is brilliant, and it's free too... We had free mini mince pies and hot chocolate at reception...

...They said we can store our lugagge and come back in the evening if we wanted to... When we came back later in the evening, they said the gas problem was fixed, but they don't have hot water... They booked us to the Hard Rock Hotel (which was a lot more expensive) without additional costs... They also informed the hotel about our arrival and everything went smooth...

...The beds were comfy and the upgraded our room. The bar was a nice feature in the evenings... The only negative is that we could not access the wifi in our room - or only rarely and it was very unreliable - so we had to go to the lobby to use the wifi...

...The taxi was clean and easy, very worth the cost. However, you could take the tube and walk, the stations are not too far from the hotel... There is a restaurant and bar on the ground floor... There are elevators or stairs to use to reach the rooms... We were on the 5th floor in a deluxe king room... The room was clean, quite roomy, and well appointed... There was a fridge in the closet, extra pillows and towels there too... Tea and coffee are provided in the room... The shower was lovely, it took a minute to get the hot water but there was plenty... In the UK, there are never outlets for hair equipment, but there was a hair dryer in the drawer near the mirror and plenty of outlets in the room... Around the corner (if you turn right) there are several coffee shops and little restaurants... The tube is easy to reach from there and we used the tap tap feature so we didn't have to even buy tickets... All in all, I think this place was the perfect place to stay if you want to be in a nice neighborhood and have easy access to everything in London... London has amazing transportation services... Oh and the Museum is only one block away... It's a nice way to spend a rainy afternoon...

...Enjoyed the towel heater in the restroom and the warm water to shower with. Solid location as it's close to The British Museum and the Holborn Underground (Subway/AKA: The Tube) also near a Boots (US version of Walgreens) and Sainsbury grocery store... What I wish they would have honored was the refill of waters (spring and mineral)... We asked several times for our daily water and we were told they ran out... Breakfast was well served but it was the same breakfast options each day...

We had a fantastic stay, staff was super friendly and cheerful whether we were heading out for the day, coming back in or grabbing a bite to eat... Thistle Holborn is a stones throw from Covent Garden, theatre district, multiple tube stations, great dining and literally right down the street from Oxford St shopping... You're a 5-10 walk from the Elizabeth line if heading to or from Heathrow...
