We came to London to visit the city and after a long day we were looking forward to getting into the room to relax. Our room was tired and stifling hot all evening, there is a cooling tower provided however this does nothing and is very loud to have on whilst trying to sleep. The room is very poorly ventilated!... We stayed for five nights from Tuesday to Sunday in a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was contemporary in design and had everything you could require including washing machine tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, hob and full size fridge freezer. Dishwasher and washing machine tablets were provided too! It was very clean and well maintained. The staff on reception were very... More

10 min walk from London Bridge Station. Clean, tidy, decent shower, good hairdryer. Kitchenette handy. Bed a bit hard but after a night on the town you will hardly notice. Coffee bars and bistro pubs all around so not far to go for food.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Go Native apartments for one night in June. We arrived around 9am but couldn't check in until 3, however the gentleman on reception allowed us to store our bags at the hotel to save us carrying them around the city all day. We eventually checked into the room at around 5pm after visiting... More

Usually happy with Priceline deals however, if it seems too good to be true . . . two nights in a London open plan studio apartment for £182 pounds. . . Go Native site shows many London locations/price/luxury options. This location is being renovated, but images on their site are accurate. Our room was nice and everything looked new. Bermondsey... There were several negative reviews about Go Native & I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived. However, my fears were unfounded. I got the quiet room I requested & I was more than happy with my apartment. It was spacious & had everything I needed for my 2 night stay. I was sorry that my stay wasn't longer,... More

We booked here last minute for an overnight stay as had appt early Monday and trains were unreliable. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel, though cab driver did struggle a bit to find it :/ Very basic reception but friendly and helpful. Room was more than we were expecting with everything you need and more. Bed comfy, bathroom and... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 2 nights and three days, the building is located roughly 10mins to both London Bridge and borough underground stations, easily do-able with light or no luggage but may require a taxi for large heavy luggage, the apartment itself was light spacious and clean with a smallish bathroom but it had everything you need... My third stay in three years and standards are steadily slipping. The rooms are showing the signs of hard wear and tear and the servicing and cleanliness is not up to the mark. On a hot London evening in a South facing room the advice was to open the window because the aircon has been disconnected. The window was open... More

Aircon is non-existent, floor in the apartment is looking tired, the magnets on the doors over the appliances/ cupboards kept opening and became very irritating considering the apartments are quite cramped. Having said that, very clean, comfortable and helpful and friendly staff. Wifi is a good 20mb upload and 4mb download! Would stay again but hopefully not in room 208!!

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Go Native London Bridge - Bermondsey Street is just 10 minutes' walk from London Bridge Tube through Bermondsey Village, one of London's most up-and-coming, fashionable neighbourhoods. The floor-to-ceiling windows in each spacious apartment, with their neutral furnishings, provide natural light. When you're not entertaining or finishing off work, you'll find yourself discovering contemporary art galleries, stylish boutiques and buzzy restaurants. Other local attractions include the Fashion and Textile Museum, Tower Bridge, White Cube Bermondsey and nearby enchanting Southwark Cathedral, a place of worship for more than 1,000 years. Borough and Bermondsey Tube stations also connect you to the rest of London; or cross the Thames on foot to the City - a glance back and there's The Shard, reflecting light across the metropolis. ... more   less
