If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.

We booked afternoon tea for a 40th birthday surprise and it was fantastic - not something you'd do very day but a very indulgent treat! Thank you to all of the tram at the hotel for making it a memorable afternoon.

If I could give 6 stars we would. I hardly know where to begin-let’s start with the staff. From the wonderful doormen to the front desk staff to the concierge staff, EVERYONE we dealt with was so kind and helpful. And I mean everyone. Two people on the concierge staff, Laetitia

I do understand your concern. I used to have a strict budget, and, in general, would not travel outside the U.S. However, my kids are all older now and we are "empty-nesters". With a little extra money in my pocket, I am now able to look for the adults only all inclusive or 5 star hotels. It's not for everyone - believe me, I was a critic too. Enjoy if and when you can. If you can't afford it, no worries. You can still enjoy London elsewhere with a comfortable sleep and a good meal.

Dear Sterlinglondon, Thank you for your question. We are pleased to offer our male guests access to a dry steam room and a sauna, both located in the male changing room. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with.
