Location for Hotel Indigo is convenient for City, close to both Aldgate and Tower Hill. Room was not big but bathroom more so. Chair at table worne - but in general nice decor. Wardrobe for clothes for longer stays than 2 nights might be too small. Evidently rather limited number of rooms in hotel as very few guests at breakfast.... More

One nights stay on business and want a good night sleep. First time in this hotel and get a room with a constant running water noise ALL night. At 11pm the hotel suggested finding an alternative hotel or ear plug. Sometime you take a punt on a hotel - do not - DO NOT - chose this one. Staff member... More

This is my second stay at a Hotel Indigo. And I can now say that I'll search out this brand of hotels whenever I can. The property is located in the heart of the City of London. And despite the location, and the experience in so many city center hotels, the room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The design... More

Although the building looks very nondescript from the outside, inside it has real character. It's smaller than I expected, with less than 50 guest rooms and only one lift, but still manages the big hotel features like 24hr room service, with a choice that's not too bad. Was surprised not to see pizza on the menu though, as there's the... More

London was the first stop of our 17 day European vacation and the Hotel Indigo really set the tone for a great trip. The blackout curtains in our room made recovering from jet lag quick and easy. The room was clean and stylish. We also got a lot of use out of the Nespresso machine which was a nice touch.... More

I visited the hotel on the 28th of this month. We arrived early but the staff were really nice and arranged an early check in for us. On arrival I was asked for my debit card and told it would just be opened and nothing taken. The room was lovely, very clean and modern. I was very happy with my... More

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your feedback. We apologise for your view of your experience at Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill. We apologise for lack of empathy but by all means our staff are always at hand to accommodate. In regards to the £50 this is a preauthorisation which as correctly stated by our staff is not a payment and... More

We were breaking a trip from the US to South Africa and spent a night in London at the Indigo. We wanted to see this area of London on this trip and the hotel was within walking distance of our planned sights. The staff were very friendly and we were able to check in early and we had a late... When I walked in to this hotel I got the impression that it was more of a budget brand. The lobby felt that way to me so initially I though I had made a poor choice. The check in staff were terrific and very quickly I was off to my room. The room was great, no budget feel here. Nicely... More

Really enjoyed my one night on points with my wife Christmas shopping, Festival Hall and Shard visit. It's a good location near Aldgate and Tower Hill tubes and DLR. Plenty of good restaurants nearby, we walked down to St Katherine's dock. We ignored the hotel restaurant which was cold (both because of the doors opening onto the street and the... More

We have stayed twice now at Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill. The staff on both occasions were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are a good size and the location is great for accessing the Hop on Hop off Bus, the Tower of London and it is only a short walk to Tower Hill and Tower Gate stations.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
