Hotel Indigo is a chain with a nice reputation. Though it was tough to find, we enjoyed the location. It's tucked away on a side street, which makes it very quiet and cozy. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room has blackout curtains. The service left something to be desired, but we enjoyed our one night and would recommend...

Had reason to stay in the Tower Bridge area of London again so without even trying another hotel I booked in at the Indigo. From checking in to checking out the experience was great. Good location combined with excellent facilities the Indigo wins hands down. If I had a complaint it was that unusually there was construction noise late evening...

Booked this for a night in central london and as it's in 'the city' (Minories) it was very quiet but the amount of secondary glazing kept out any noise anyway. Hotel has a very funky interiors in reception, lift and hallways and was very clean. Room was huge with nice furnishings and comfortable bed. Staff were very courteous and helpful...

perfect location, 2 mins walk from Aldgate station. The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. Extremely comfortable bed, like a cloud. Great service to top it all off. Amazing value for money as well, compared to some worse hotels I've been to in London which were much more expensive.

Dear Kushal S., As much as possible, we try to provide what may be required on an individual basis. But since this is definitely not possible, we still attempt to provide our guests with extra services. But thanks cause your comments have given us an idea to ask our guests when they check in as regards their unique requirements for...

We stayed here as a base for a weekend in London. My room was a King Executive room (see pic). The design was of the room was fantastic, and the bed was really great. Air con in the room means the temperate can be set digitally. Overall this was a really good experience, the staff on reception were friendly, and...

From the pavement Hotel Indigo doesn't look great and it felt like plastic flowers in the reception wouldn't be out of place, so what a wonderful surprise the hotel room is! Beautiful decor, spotlessly clean and modern with a complementary mini bar of water and soft drinks. We were on the 6th floor and with the background drone of the...

I stayed just for one night as going out nearby and was arriving in London that afternoon so needed a "bed for the night" Well it was MUCH more than that, huge room, blissfully quiet and very stylishly decorated - only gripe the chair by the dressing table is too low (you'd have to use the decor cushions on the...

I really enjoyed staying in Indigo London Tower Hill! The hotel is located within a short walk from the Tower of London area and the City. The room was good size with an original decor. I particularly liked the hand-held device made available for use also outside of the hotel on which you can see e.g. the city map, information...

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
