Some things not complied as promised. Booked: Tripleroom - got doubleroom with a 3 bed; which caused no free place in the room. You have to go over the bed to the other. Only English Breakfast; does not combine with the booking. Hairdryer does not blow; we urged 2x, but even after the 3rd we got a hairdryer. Wardrobe was... More

The Judd is very well located and we chose it based on previous reviews. We all booked double rooms for single occupancy for 2 nights. We were told this would mean we got smaller doubles but mine was minute! The bathroom was the size of an airplane toilet and the door could not fully open because of the bed. The... More

Hotel was clean (well the shower could have been whiter but it was clean). Room was cleaned everyday with new sheets and towels. Staff were polite and very helpful! Breakfast could've been more inspiring but for free it was good. Defo will use Judd again!!!

We were only stopping for one night and when we arrived at the Judd we thought 'This is nice!'. Unfortunately, we were transferred to another hotel across the road to a room that was two floors up the only staircase!! No fire escape route if the stairs were on fire!! Do the authorities know about this?

Booked this hotel with a couple of months notice so was quite good value. I wasn't expecting too much but just needed somewhere for one night. Pleasantly surprised - location was excellent on a quiet street near to Euston Station / Kings Cross. A nice crescent overlooking a tennis court. All staff very friendly and the room was clean and... On the plus side: The hotel is located in a quite side street of a very nice neighbourhood. Restaurants, pubs, tesco express, bus and tube stations everything in walking distance. The room/bathroom were very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful - the atmosphere was familiar. Suggestion: Since breakfast ends at 9 a.m. it would be nice to have an... More

We stayed at the sister hotel across the road. The room was very small and didn't look anything like the photos on the website. We were on the third floor and no lift available so played havoc with my knees. I would not recommend this hotel especially to anyone who has difficulty with stairs if you are booking to stay... So I had booked the Judd for 4 nights I only stayed 1 night and left to another hotel. Location is really close to Kings Cross/ St Pancras so location is good and the fact she refunded me right away for the other nights I didn't stay I appreciate and give points for it wasn't a hassle. So the single... More

Spent a night here last weekend with three friends. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Beds and pillows were good quality. Shower was warm and powerful. Staff were both friendly and helpful and we were able to check in early and leave our bags safely locked away. Breakfast was a very tasty full English. Super location if you are travelling into... I never actually got a room in the Judd hotel, I was shipped off to the Jenkins hotel opposite (but it's essentially the same hotel). My room was on the 3rd floor, no lift. The stairs were so narrow at the end I don't know how anyone could get up there with a large suitcase....even with a small one I... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
