The hotel itself looks nice and the chap at reception was polite & helpful. There is no parking but you can park in a residents space outside the hotel until 08.30 am after which time you need a permit. I had a room on the 2nd floor which means two flights up rickety , tired carpeted stairs. The room is... More

I did not end up staying in this hotel as they put my transaction for the room through twice and then made out as if I was lying so I had to send them pictures of my online banking. I then spoke to my bank who said yes the hotel have done it and the money is blocked so you... More

Great reasonably priced hotel in very convenient location. Very friendly staff and nice breakfast. Perfectly clean and cosy rooms. I made an error when booking which meant we were charged twice and I only realised when I got home. After speaking to the hotel they reimbursed me immediately. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I have stayed here before and it has been ok, but I booked a double room this time and received two child's single beds and an extremely uncomfortable sofa bed (unsleepable due to a difference in height between the sections and a hard metal ridge to snuggle conveniently in your back). The room was also clearly a re-purposes sitting room.... More

Reasonable hotel, good location as it is walking distance from the train stations. Good service from reception upon arrival, the room I was allocated was clean and of a good size. There were no lifts just a narrow staircase to go up and down the different floors which is difficult for heavy travellers. The only main negative for me would... More

Warm welcome at the reception desk. The room on the other side of a small side street was comfortable and offered various facilities such as a kettle and tea. Breakfast was good and early. It is situated at no more than ten minutes walk from St Pancras International.

I was in room LG01 (lower ground) This room is very small opposite the restaurant. It is also directly above the reception. The reception has a wooden floor. I have had the worst 2 nights sleep ever in a hotel. I was kept awake with every step, conversation and every suite case pulled across the floor through out the night!!!!!... More

This hotel had a very attractive offer (for a London hotel) and at a special price of £84 including a full English breakfast for two we decided to give it a try. We normally go for the larger establishments and pay a lot more but the Hotel had reasonable reviews and looked very nice in the photo’s. On arrival we... More

Reception staff are polite and helpful, breakfast room is to small and tables are not cleared quickly enough which leaves the guests with nowhere to put their food. The bedrooms are sold as double rooms, when in fact they are no bigger than singles. They contain two single beds pushed together, with one side against the wall so you can... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
