Gorgeous hotel to sleep. We only stayed for the one night and it was lovely! The staff are very helpful and friendly and make you feel really welcome. The breakfast is perfect and perfect to keep going until lunch time. Highly recommended :) :)

Stayed for one night, just to have leeway between arriving from Amsterdam and my flight from Heathrow. Single room was very small. OK for one night, but may be calustrophobic for a longer stay. Very clean and efficient, and air-conditioned, which was very welcome in the third floor room. The clerk who checked me in was very helpful. When checking... More

Four Aussie girls, we stayed at the Judd for one week, and enjoyed the experience. Small rooms by Aussie standards, however, the hotel had everything that we needed. Close to St Pancras station as well as close to the city, it provided us with a base from which to explore London. A really good value London hotel.

While the beds were very comfortable, and the room and the bath very clean, it was a tight space all around. It was a squeeze to find space for all the luggage. The shower was so narrow I hit my elbows on the sides when I washed by hair. In addition, there wasn't enough hot water for three people to... More

Disappointing experience! Won't go back. Arrived to find only 2 lights out of 5 were in working order. Bathroom ceiling light and shaving light & bedroom wall light not working. Consequently very dark bathroom. Requested to have them fixed whilst we went out - not done. One was fixed after 2nd request. Huge stained crack in sink which we didn't... More

A good hotel in a convenient location, close to St Pancras/King's Cross. The room was very small but it had everything I needed (except a desk!) Fully cooked breakfast everyday which was nice although a tad repetitive. Good value hotel- would definitely stay again.

Some things not complied as promised. Booked: Tripleroom - got doubleroom with a 3 bed; which caused no free place in the room. You have to go over the bed to the other. Only English Breakfast; does not combine with the booking. Hairdryer does not blow; we urged 2x, but even after the 3rd we got a hairdryer. Wardrobe was... More

The Judd is very well located and we chose it based on previous reviews. We all booked double rooms for single occupancy for 2 nights. We were told this would mean we got smaller doubles but mine was minute! The bathroom was the size of an airplane toilet and the door could not fully open because of the bed. The... More

Hotel was clean (well the shower could have been whiter but it was clean). Room was cleaned everyday with new sheets and towels. Staff were polite and very helpful! Breakfast could've been more inspiring but for free it was good. Defo will use Judd again!!!

We were only stopping for one night and when we arrived at the Judd we thought 'This is nice!'. Unfortunately, we were transferred to another hotel across the road to a room that was two floors up the only staircase!! No fire escape route if the stairs were on fire!! Do the authorities know about this?

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
