Ok I don't normally do reviews but when the staff make your experience overwhelming then it gives me a kick in the a@@ to make a review. My fiancee and I are in our late 50s and we booked the Thistle Hotel for 4 nights. We had booked 2 shows as soon as London opened its doors. Tracy then advised that our booking had been moved from the Thistle to the Hard Rock. This concerned 2 late 50 Yr olds BUT the shows and train tickets couldn't be changed. However as soon as we arrived the check in was great Roadie was excellent in sorting the change over and check in with us on regular basis. Callus and Emmy in the bar area where exceedingly helpfull and friendly. The hotel does play loud music but TBH it lifts your mood and becomes enjoyable. The Hotel is tastefully decorated with some amazing music memorabilia. The hotel is exceptionally clean and we felt very safe. The prices are central London prices accept it or don't visit London. Hasten to add we will be back. Thanks to ALL the staff you are amazing

If this review was based on just us we would give it 5 stars, however we travelled with our dog as we thought the pet package advertised sounded great and for the £100 it cost us we hoped it would be worth it. It wasn’t and we’d rate it zero stars if we could. The website states that on arrival dogs will treated to sWAG bags at check in, we didn’t receive anything, in our room there was a little Beco ball worth £4.99 and some Beco poo bags (not really of interest to my dog!) but no sWag bad or edible treats. There was a food and drink bowl and dog bed in the room but the bed was more of a giant pillow and it didn’t get the approval from our dog haha. Dogs were not allowed in the bar areas, and there was no designated pet areas as stated on the website. There was also meant to be a pet room service menu but no sign of this either. So unfortunately the whole pet unleashed programme we felt was massively overpriced and extremely underwhelming. If we was not travelling with our dog however we would of rated the stay 5 stars, our room was upgraded from a classic to a superior room which was a lovely surprise. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfy and we had a great view of Marble Arch. Great location too.

First stay/visit to this Hotel. Check in/out smooth and quick. Friendly and helpful staff. Had a Rockstar Suite, lots of space, sitting room and separate bedroom with Kind size bed. Views over Hyde Park. Big bathroom with double shower and lovely roll top freestanding bath and wc, and there is also a further separate wc. Worked great for three adults as portable bed was placed in Sitting Room with its own wc facilities. Hotel is amazing, we spent a few hours sat at the circular bar drinking cocktails which were fab. Breakfast was excellent, good buffet selection and omlettes/waffles/pancakes all cooked fresh and brought to us as well. Location is excellent, 2 mins walk from Marble Arch Tube (landed at Kings Cross and were in Hotel in 15 mins). Will definitely return.

We booked an exec room for 3 nights and as a special treat we also booked the Rock Royalty. The room was excellent with a great view looking down the length of Park Lane and Marble Arch/ Hyde Park. The staff were informative and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay special. The hotel location is perfect with Marble Arch tube station (central line) underneath the hotel with access to all tourist stuff really easy. We hired Boris bikes nearby and had a great day cycling around Hyde Park. We will certainly be staying again food was great and breakfast was excellent. The hotel is also at the west end of Oxford street so the girls were delighted and loved shopping.
