My husband & I stayed at Rafayel Hotel for 1 night last week. We booked for a Swedish massage for both of us. The receptionist at the River Wellbeing Spa at hotel Rafayel was very friendly & made us feel comfortable & at home. (forgot to ask for her name) I was taken to the massage room first. I really needed a massage. I didn’t realize how tight my body was until my 1 hour session was over. Safeena (messeurs) was amazing! Her pressure was great & the technique too. She was attentive, a great listener and communicator, working out tough tension spots in a way I didn’t even, know was possible! . She is a wonder woman! really. Safeena is very knowledgeable and experienced in her field. Also a very kind and nice person to have met. Thank you for helping me de-stress with an amazing massage! I wish I could afford to go there every week. The facility is really nice and spacious. The atmosphere was perfect, and my body felt incredibly rejuvenated after the massage. Writing this review makes me want to call and book another! Great service. Really enjoyable experience, Cannot recommend enough. 😀This is one of the best massages I have ever had! Thanks to you Safeena. Exceptional massage. Highly recommend. Rebecca M…
I have been staying at the hotel for three weeks whilst working nearby. The staff are very professional and attentive. My room is lovely - with a view of the Thames - and very clean. I have eaten a few times in the restaurant and the food has been very good on each occasion - again the restaurant staff were excellent. A special mention for the very friendly barman. On days off from work I have walked from the hotel into Chelsea/Sloane Square - around 30-40 minutes walk - and it is a lovely walk. I will definitely stay again when visiting or working in central London.
Overall, our stay was fine. But I want to mention the man at reception that argued with me when I asked for some help with the resistance pool. He argued with me and said it’s a ‘dipping pool’ and not a resistance pool. I felt completely undermined by this because I did question this due to the controls being on display and he said ‘no no no you’re wrong it’s a dipping pool’ This man was rude to me for no reason.
Stayed in the Exec Suite😆 1. No help with our luggage from the carpark (hotel employee just looked at my girlfriend struggle into the lift). 2. No guidance to our room, just told where to go. 3. Bathroom bidet plug wedged in place, so could not be used. 4. Bathroom extraction fan not working. So bathroom filled with steam and smelled like mold after-use. 5. Speakers/sound not working on the TV. So not sound. 6. Bedside lamp on the left not working. 7. Where the carpet meets furniture or wall, these places require vacuum. 8. Restaurant food (and drinks) overpriced, inedible, staff inattentive, waited over 30 minutes for a disgusting chicken 'burger'. Picture of burger with 'coleslaw'. And this was after it had been returned to the kitchen due to 'lack of coleslaw'? 9. On 'check-out' not even asked if we enjoyed our stay or if there were any problems. FOR THE MONEY STAY FURTHER UP THE RIVER IN A PROPER HOTEL.…
I arrived at this hotel happy with, yet a bit disappointed that fact that there was no shower gel provided. Luckily, I had bought my own, so this quickly became a non-issue. After my stay, £40.00 was taken from my bank account. When I enquired, I was accused, not only of removing the shower gel from the room, but also the fitting that attached it to the wall!! Staff here are very rude and extremely ignorant. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Visited on Sunday 10th April for a Spa Day and I was well looked after. Lama the Manager on Duty was attentive and took care of our every need. Cindy, the Message Therapist sent me away with fairies, I felt so relaxed and pampered. This is definitely a 3* venue however the care given by Lama and Cindy was second to non. Thank you both for a great day.
Cannot fault this hotel. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles and a friendly welcome. The rooms are Spotless with stunning views of the Thames. The staff are so friendly and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely return when I’m next in London. Thank You!
I didn't stay overnight, but attended an amazing party. The service was excellent and everybody very helpful. The hotel also has a beautiful terrace with amazing views onto the Thames. Intend to return as soon as the weather improves. Thoroughly recommend the place.
I came to this hotel for a Miss England event and I had a wonderful time! The hotel staff were incredibly hospitable and polite and guided me to the event. The hotel was beautiful inside and the terrace had amazing views where we could go outside to take pictures! I will definitely come here again as I had an amazing experience!
I had a great time at Hotel Rafayel celebrating Miss England and Miss Ireland going to miss world! The staff were very friendly and food was good! The flower wall is gorgeous and the location right on the river so pretty!!
