I booked last minute for a work trip and on arrival, I think I was upgraded as the room was a lot bigger than I was expecting. Staff are excellent, incredibly friendly and helpful and the decor is stunning. Really love their commitment to sustainability from the water in the room to the eco friendly (and ethical) toilet paper. The only things that did let the hotel down were that there weren't any tea or coffee facilities in the room which I felt was a bit odd and the floor in my room was filthy. I ended up walking around on a towel as I took my shoes and socks off and could feel the dust and grit on my bare feet. I didn't have time to try the gym or restaurant and opted for a run around Hyde Park instead - this hotel is in such an excellent location and I felt completely safe as a female on my own. I've recommended this hotel to all my colleagues and will use this for all of my stays in London from now on. I can't wait for the spa treatments to become available!…
Stayed for 1 night with youngest son when over for north London derby (a great 3-0 Spurs win!). Hotel location is excellent - we were checked in <1 hour after plane touched-down using Heathrow Express and was easy to travel around London. Hotel itself has very chilled, modern feel - new furniture, bright colours and the many staff are very pleasant. When we arrived there were at least 6 people in reception to welcome the 2 of us. When we walked into our room (2:30pm) we had the embarrassment of walking in on the prior occupants. Back to reception we left them to address the room and went for lunch (many choices nearby). When we came back an hour later they gave us a new room - apparently an upgrade because of the prior mix-up. Room was small but very clean and comfortable with great bed/pillows. The next morning breakfast was similarly chaotic - many staff tripping over each other, orders mixed up across tables, food/drinks arriving at different times….. A simple example was our OJ which we had half-drank, was whipped away because it “hadn’t been filled to the level by the prior shift” and then returned 5 minutes later. The breakfast was included in the rate, however didn’t include drinks like coffee or juice - a first for me. Also because our coffee and juices exceeded £20 they don’t allow you use the £50 credit card hold from check-in, so it had to be paid at the time! So overall happy to stay in the hotel and really enjoyed the location, however they have plenty of opportunity to improve their processes on re-opening to make the overall experience less haphazard.…
I had the best night's sleep in this hotel. Beds were firm and cozy, dimmable lighting, down pillows, and quiet room. Never once heard noise from outside all night (Saturday night!). Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Room, hallways and entrance were absolutely pristine with lovely scandi decor and everything from the soap to the water in your room is eco friendly. The breakfast has options for vegans and celiacs which is something I really appreciate. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and I can't wait to stay here again.
Beautiful and clean hotel. We stayed here on its opening weekend and everything was high quality. The hotel is eco-friendly and a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Paddington. The Scandinavian design throughout is a nice feature and the diffuser in the bathroom is a nice touch. Definitely recommend this hotel. We will be back!
The welcome at this hotel was second to none the people are so lovely nothing is to much trouble while we were waiting for our room we were offered home made cookies by this lovely lady the deco in this hotel is very Scandinavian beautiful woods not a piece of plastic in site it is so environmentally friendly the rooms are beautiful designed the the deco is lovely beautiful white towels and dressing gowns, we didn’t manage to get to the spa as we only stayed 2 nights… if you are looking for a hotel that care for their guests and the environment this is the hotel for you … we certainly will be returning thank you team great jobs x
Paid £104 for one night as part of an early booking deal, And our whole experience at the Hotel was FANTASTIC. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, our room that we booked was a double but we ended up being upgrade to a double with an upstairs Kitchen and sofa area with tea and coffee making facilities. The bed and pillows where probably the most comfiest that I have slept on in any hotel and the bathroom was well stocked with luxury toiletries. The Room was so clean and we even had complimentary bottled waters and fruit selection on arrival in the room. The Breakfast was of a good standard with full English and continental buffet. On check out nothing was too much trouble and we stored our bags free of charge till we collected them at approx 4PM. The hotel also offers free WIFI. Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay so perfect and a big shout out to Gabriela who was so friendly and Helpful. Will 100% stay here again. Highly Recommended.…
I have stayed at this hotel many nights. I love the area but last night 5 March 2022 I truly did not feel safe in the hotel itself. In the past no one has requested id on my prepaid check-in. I have no issue with presenting id but mine was scanned and then the employees spoke a different language then requested my passport be scanned, which no hotel has requested. Once I fussed and asked the reason they said it was not needed. I truly feel my personal data has been compromised at they stoll took my license and scanned it. Plus my room was freezing. I would never recommend.
Got a message via booking.com from them (no phone call!) to say we had been moved hotels due to maintenance works. No issue there until I realised I got moved to cheaper hotel and I haven’t received any money back yet despite many emails and many phone calls. Hoping this grabs the attention of someone so I can get my money back!
This hotel closed in July 2021 but they are still taking bookings and not letting you know it has closed. I tried for fays to get in touch eventually got through to a sister hotel who advised me that this hotel had closed even though i was booked in to it just 2 days later for 4 nights
We had originally booked to stay at Park Grand Lancaster Gate for 4 nights, however were moved to Park Grand London Paddington (the sister hotel) which was literally just around the corner. On arrival we were allocated to our room which was smaller than we had expected and after staying the night we raised this with the reception who kindly upgraded us to a club room which was very much appreciated. The club room was lovely and spacious and we decided to increase out stay by an extra night. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and left balloons and a Birthday card in our room. The breakfast staff also couldn't do enough to help and our overall stay was thoroughly enjoyed. Location was perfect, minutes away from hyde park and also within close distance of Paddington railway. We would definitely return here again.…
