Couldn't fault the place; for me & my friend visiting London for a weekend away, it couldn't of been better! After browsing the internet only a few days before our trip, I found this little treasure! Located in the perfect location, surrounded by quirky shops, busy restaurants and cute little delis and easy access to the tube. The staff were... More

Not got any real negatives about going go native...for sure,it was compact, and if your into spreading out in spacious luxury, then head up to Park Lane. We were a little disappointed with the space though, and banged the shins a couple of times. ....some people may use a washing machine on holiday, but not us . If your looking for a... More

We were 4 in a double American. The room was cozy and clean, we had everything we needed. Position is excellent and staff is kind. Italian breakfast in the bar across the street, borough market reachable in 5' on foot.

Finding well-priced accommodation in London is challenging, at best. Then it's always a little gamble to discover the reality of what is booked. I'm happy to say that Go Native London Bridge was precisely as advertised and the room allocated was better than expected. My 1 bedroom apartment was relatively spacious, had everything I needed and everything worked. Staff were... More

This is for a booking in July, we received an email today 13th May to let us know that they are doing renovations on this property and the Bermondsey Street property so both are closed from 16th May!! We were moved to a property miles away in Kensington! I booked this specific Go Native due to its proximity to all... More

It was our very first time in London, we stayed for one week and I couldn’t be happier. We had a one bedroom apartment on the second floor. Our apartment was equipped with an ironing board, stove, cups, plates, coffee, tea, utensils, pots, pans, cutlery, storage container, washer/dryer, and a dishwasher. Although some areas do need some TLC throughout, (some... More

The room is tired and dated, the bathroom had tiles missing (but they are the small mosaic type) and has no chrome left on the shower, the bed is effectively a shelf with a very thin mattress on it, but we slept fine. The room was mega hot with the outside temperature being 27oC outside but a tower fan is... More

I work three days a week in London, and am fed up of staying in hotels and eating in restaurants, so wanted an apartment. These are perfect - hotel standard with towels and toiletries, but with a full kitchen no living room, so it feels like a home rather than a hotl room. I plan to stay there as often... More

Tiny tiny apartment, reception staff were disinterested at best, rude at worst (with the exception of the gent on duty last night!) Camp bed for 6 year old broke, curtains didn't close properly, aircon stuck on 26 (tried to turn it down multiple times!) only good thing is the location but there's plenty of other options in the area. Won't... More

Despite the tower-block-like feel of the hallways, the room was nice enough, although understandably a bit cramped. It was clean and very quiet, up on the top floor. On the downside, it was missing the washing machine all rooms were supposed to have (we had to use the machine from another room), and many of the fittings were broken, such... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
