I didn't think to take any pictures, but I loved my stay here! It was my first hostel experience and I was happy with the: clean facilities, clean sheets, free towels, free wifi, nice location, great breakfast selection (for a hostel), you even get a discount at the bar in the lobby, and you can even borrow power converters if... From photos and online review we expected this to be a great hostel. However, as many reviewers have pointed out the train noise from Waterloo station is extremely loud so bring earplugs. We were prepared for that. Plus there is no air system or fans so you have to sleep with windows open or it gets extremely hot. There were... More

The staff were very friendly but the hostel itself is a bit of a rickety labyrinth without great toilets. The shower was fairly decent though. Beds pretty standard but no bedside lamp/table/plug and it was very noisy with the road. Great Korean place round the corner if you fancy food.

We loved the Walrus! The staff is super helpful and do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are small, but they are clean and nicely kept. Its in a great location with Big Ben just across the river and right next to the station. We will definitely be coming back. Also, they offer a ton of... More

I booked this hostel on the very last minute and was lucky to get the last bed on a busy marathon weekend. It was one of the best weekend I ever had. First because I would meet one of my best friends from the uni whom I had not met for 8 years! She actually was the one recommending me... More

Hostel is centrally located to Big Ben, Westminster, etc. However, rooms are extremely small, haven't been updated in years, and felt very cramped. We paid extra to be in a six bed ensuite, which you would think meant an actual bathroom, but only meant a shower. We still had to go out to a shared bathroom and input a door... More

The walrus is a great place. Firstly the staff and all very helpful and friendly and are really keen to give out advice and offer you tips on what to do with your day. Checking in and out was a breeze and you can leave your bag here for the day if need be. If you need an adaptor they... More

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hostel. Upon arrival we were taken to our room (8 bed mixed) and were struck by the cramped nature and lack of storage space. The lockers were very tiny and not all of them were functional. Additionally the room overlooked the nearby railway causing lots of noise with the windows open... More

I stayed in the 22 bed-room, the bed was so comfy and warm. They have lockers in the rooms so had no reason to feel unsafe. They have shower rooms and a separate bathroom, both of which are fine. The staff are tremendous! So friendly and helpful and welcoming! Considering this place was dirt cheap and insanely central, I feel... More
