The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the airport. Great for a night, before or after a flight.
Nice rooms, not so big, but very clean. The bathroom is a "wet room" with a shower without a curtain and without a border, next to the toilet. Not practical, the whole bathroom gets wet if you take a shower. OK for one night, but I don't think I would like it if I were to stay several nights.
The bed was comfortable and at a certain time it was even quiet. Excellent wifi.
I had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. For dinner there was a small choice of burgers and salads (which was lucky, because there are no restaurants nearby and the airport, where you could get something to eat, closes quite early). There was also a vegetarian option. The breakfast had enough choice and there was also fresh fruit.
The staff were friendly and helpful and after checking out the following morning I was able to leave my luggage in the "luggage room" until I went to the airport.

Flight from City airport was cancelled so booked a room at short notice. It was 5 mins walk from the airport and DLR station. The room was spotless and the entire hotel seemed cleaned and tidy and looked like recently redecorated maybe. The room itself was small, but perfectly functional. There was no wardrobe, only hooks for clothes, but didnt mind. Room was on first floor and heard a little airport noise in the morning but all in all was great value for money.

Very good experience. Booked for an overnight stay for an early flight. Ended up arriving in a blizzard. The charming guy at the desk rushed to help us with our luggage and was helpful storing our luggage downstairs and putting my insulin in the fridge. As all flights were cancelled people walking from the airport to find the hotel full. It was busy but the staff remained charming, polite and helpful to everyone.
Room was small but adequate for overnight. Spotlessly Clean. Comfortable bed. Hairdryer. Plenty of electrical points.
Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and really delicious. Although for a speedy getaway cold food presented well. It Al in all has, an indépendant "cared for" feel. Would highly recommend if you want to be in walking distance to the airport.

We booked this hotel last minute via hotels.com and used clubcard vouchers, as it brought the room rate just under travelodge prices. We were absolutely not expecting The Ritz, and on the surface thought the room was fine. Bed very low and soft, but that’s a preference thing. Bathroom is a wet room, was fine for us. Good shower heat and pressure, fine product provided.
When we arrived we were not sure where to park, so pulled up in the estate behind and ran in and asked. The receptionist was very unhelpful and vaguely pointed out the window and said to use a gate, but gave no instructions on how to get there. Once we made it in they took our debit card details which was odd. We paid for the car park at £15, and asked if that covered us for 24 hours regardless of check out time and were told YES, we could leave our car until 3pm the next day as we checked in at 3.
Once in the room, my other half went to reception and asked if there were extra pillows, as we were only given one very thin pillow each. The person on the desk said they would check and call the room to let us know. When they did call, they said they had pillows but that there was a charge per pillow…?! For a pillow you don’t keep, just put your head on!! I politely declined.
We used the hotel for a night at the O2, very easy to get to tube and there in 15 mins.
The next morning when checking out, I told the receptionist (different from check in) that we were popping into Central and would be back for the car as planned later. The receptionist told me that is not the case, and that I would need to pay an extra £10 for late parking. I told them that we were told differently the night before, to which they told me that I would simply not have been told that, and proceeded to check the hotels.com website to show me it doesn’t say 24 hours parking. It does. They then said that I was welcome to leave the car and they would speak to the previous receptionist and if they said they had told us there would be a fee we would have to pay, if they agreed with me I wouldn’t. The receptionist was unbelievably dismissive, and incredibly rude. In this case the receptionist was so obtuse and rude that it is absolutely their fault we had a poor stay. Had the hotel had staff who were friendly and STUCK TO THE SAME STORY we would easily return to this hotel. Both staff members were at fault, one disinterested and either giving false information or whatever gets rid of the person in front of them, and one plain rude.
Based on the overall service from every staff member we encountered I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Pay the extra few quid and go for the travelodge.

Everthing in the rooms and toilets, except for towels and bed linen was dirty and full of dust.
The staff in reception in day shift was so unprofessional and rude. The soap dispenser in my bathroom was broken.Every single day, I asked them to repair or replace it and instead I get some liquid soap in paper cup for all my stay( 5 days). They did not renew any toilet papers or towels. When I asked them to renew it in one morning on my way to work, they said you should take it yourself to the room. I said, but i am leaving for work now! And the answer was, "ok Ma'am, whenever you are ready!". The last they after check out, i wanted to use the lobby WC, which was really dirty and again out of paper! I informed the reception to refill the toilet paper frame, and she brings out a roll of paper and says you should do it! I surprisingly asked: me? And the answer was, "yes, if you want to use it!". The breakfast area, the tables, the dishes, all dusty and dirty. All in all the worst "Hotel" i have bin for this price! Dont waste your money there!

I have never stayed anywhere that requires the customer to leave credit card details in case they damage anything! Perhaps this was an indication of their typical clientel?
I will forgive the tiny room and even tinier bathroom which once one person had showered, became literally a wet room. I guess if you want to shower whilst sitting on the loo it could be perfect.
I could forgive the tiny towels and slighltly time worn sheets which, though clean were rather stained. But for nearly £200 per night, why should I? The one redeeming feature being the proximity to City Airport. I shouldn't grumble I suppose, but I made my partner vow that we would NEVER stay anywhere like that ever again!

The room in general is clean but quite small. The bathroom stays wet after we've showered and doesn't seem to dry up overnight.

The staff is friendly overall, but probably due to the hotels unaccommodating and rigid policies, we were unable to heat our baby's food or even keep her food in the fridge (as there are no fridges in the room). I've been to several hotels with basic facilities, but never have I come across a place that would not even heat up a meal for a baby who cannot eat a regular takeout or restaurant food yet.

Unfortunately we booked through hotwire for 9 (!) nights, which is non-refundable. Otherwise we would not be staying here more than a day.

So if you're just in a transit, and need a place to lay down and take a shower, go for it. But if you have a kid (baby or toddler), or planning to stay for a longer period, go somewhere else.

Stayed for one night as part of a London trip. The receptionist was quite sarcastic. He had emailed to ask when our ETA was, we weren't able to give an exact time due to not knowing the area and having a few bevvies. I literally have to be somewhere all week every week so for once would have been nice to just chill but no we were pestered as to our ETA even though it said check in till 2am. When we arrived earlier than expected he made a remark like "that was 10 minutes not 30 minutes". We are on a weekend break sir, sorry we didn't fit your schedule wtf???? You work on the desk of a hotel, your job is to help the customer. I was also asked for extra credit card info. The room is average and stifling on entering but the air con worked. The room was comfy but basic, a bit worse provision than a travelodge. London is so expensive right now and with people charging this much for this basic accommodation, we would rethink where and how to stay.

I would not recommend for anyone to deal with this hotel. On the 12/12/22 while in London after a second cancelled flight due to adverse weather conditions my family and I were in a panic due to having nowhere to stay having no way home until the following day. Due to the highly stressful situation we accidentally booked the wrong day. We called the hotel minutes after booking to ask them to change it to that day (the day we needed a room to stay) and they said we they were fully booked, which is understandable. We then asked if we could have a refund, as we had no money left and needed the money we had paid to the hotel in order to find a bed for that night elsewhere since they had no room for us, and we had no need for the hotel room the following day as we were going back home. The hotel advised us to contact booking.com as the room was non refundable. Booking.com were extremely helpful with our situation, and they submitted a special request to the hotel that given our circumstances they would allow a refund if the hotel agreed.

To my shock and absolute horror, the hotel refused to refund us the money even with permission from booking.com. We explained to them that we had no more money to book another room after being stuck in the UK for 2 days and that a family of 4 would have to find space to sleep in the airport due to low funds. They still refused a refund. This resulted in us having to sleep a night in the airport on a cold floor. To think that a hotel who had the chance and authority to refund the money to a family in need, knowing the awful situation we found ourselves in is appalling. A hotel that was booked out due to other people's misfortunes and still keeping people's money when there was no need is the definition of corporate greed! I will be telling everyone I know that this hotel are absolutely horrendous to deal with and have a huge lack of morals and professionalism! Shame on them.

Awful. Tried to charge me because a towel had marks on it. Try the washing machine!! I said if they want to charge me to give me the towel as I’d put it in my washing machine. He refused. Total scam.
He then charged me again instead of refunding me, refused to give me a card receipt for the charge!
Whole place was grubby. It’s not close to City Airport.
Be warned, do not check out without making clear your charge in front of you to avoid scam charges.
