Luckily we booked ahead for lunch - wouldn't fancy queuing!
Food was very good, drinks are quirky. Service was dreadful. When we didn't pay the optional 12.5% service charge, we were told we had underpaid. When we told them why we weren't paying it, there...More
We spent 5 nights at this really funky boutique hotel. This hotel is a member of the "Design Hotels" organisation with each of the 12 odd rooms and suites being attributed to a well known designer. This is truly a boutique hotel that occupies an...More

We celebrated an engagement on the rooftop bar in a private area big enough for 70-80 guests. The staff were brilliant. The set up manager made set up easy and the catering, wines, drinks and staff service was 1st class. Add to that the lovely...More
Came here for the rooftop bar. Queue was short but took ages, a man in a suit came out with a clipboard asking how many of us there were and advised us it was one in one out as they were busy. It all looked...More

The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about
Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
Could any previous guest who have been lucky enough to stay at the hotel on mew year have any experience of viewing the embankment fireworks from the rooftop restaurant. I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

This hotel is not very high up and is in East London so you wouldn't get a good view of the fireworks.
