I had a really enjoyable holiday at Ivy Gate House in September 2015. I have stayed a few times before and enjoy the tranquility of Chiswick and the homely feel that Ros provides at her place. Chiswick is located well, half way between Heathrow airport and Picadilly Circus and it is close enough to the centre of London, but far... More

My partner and I were scouring the internet, looking for a place to spend a weekend in London, when we chanced upon Ivy Gate House. Having lived there a long time ago, I knew Chiswick to be a quiet, charming part of London; a small bolt-hole of tranquility, in an otherwise frenetic city, so I jumped at the opportunity to... This is the 4th time I have been to London in the last 10 years and have stayed here each time and I recommend it to anyone coming to London. Chiswick is where city meets country in a lovely suburb of London. On the one hand it... More

Ivy Gate House is a relaxing B&B situated in a sequestered and civilised area of Chiswick, a few minutes walk from good pubs, quiet greens and the busy bustle of the high road. I stayed here twice with my father and both times found the experience perfectly agreeable. The proprietor, Ros, is a warmly engaging and homely host.

I have had several experiences of London b&bs and the experiences have not been great. However this b&b is just outstanding. Ros is just delightful and can't do enough for you. The breakfast is delicious. Fantastic location. Safe area. Look no further but Ivy Gate House B&B!
