Location good, tube, local amenities. Room clean, comfortable, quiet. Parking £10 per day too expensive, needs to be reduced/removed. Breakfast too expensive, went to Cafe in Crown Lane, excellent food, service and price.

The hotel was exceptionally quiet but conveniently located near to shops, restaurants and the tube station. We only stayed overnight to attend a family reunion nearby so didn't use the restaurant or the car park. Very clean room and extremely comfortable bed. Would recommend unreservedly.

I was staying on a Saturday night whilst visiting the Queens Theatre in the West End to see Les Miserables. I booked several months in advance, but even so, the room rate of £48 was incredibly cheap for a Saturday night in the capital. I normally find the Premier Inns at Kew Bridge & Harrow amongst the cheapest, but this is one of the newer Premier Inns so had not stayed there before. The hotel is very modern and clean as is the case with most Premier Inns, but what was so pleasing about this Premier Inn was the ease of finding it from Southgate tube which was literally only 100 yards or so. Another advantage is that it is in a quiet side street and it was possible to sleep very well as the noise insulation was excellent. I arrived at Kings Cross and it was so easy just to take the Piccadilly Line northbound without having to change lines and after check in using the same line in the other direction to reach theatreland. I stayed in room 202 - this has almost its own corridor with only 1 other room on, which was empty during my visit. This hotel will probably become my Premier Inn of choice for future trips. Near the tube there are five cafes and as I prefer to eat breakfast away from hotels, this was very handy. I used the Chunk of Green café on this occasion.

The Hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from Southgate Underground Station (It's opposite) and from there you can also catch a number of buses so is easily located to get about without a car. The staff were all pleasant and the room was more or less clean (Couple of stray hairs in bath) We only had one spare pillow and the pillowcase was dirty so we had this exchanged with no issue and given a couple more pillows. We didn't eat in as was going out. Had a good nights sleep, thanks to good air conditioning and lack of noise from other guests. Our only gripe is that it is £10 to park the car in an unsecured car park underneath. As a disabled guest, this should have been free, and either free or much cheaper for other guests. We actually parked in the car park in the next road as it was free to blue badge holders. (Half the price of the Premier Inn car park too) We would use this hotel again if we needed to be in this area.

Good hotel, great location. Shame the air con was broken-no staff to alert regarding this. Reasonably priced for a Saturday evening stay. Checking in was a laborious task and self service hindered. Poor guidance.
