I had a session with Barbara in November, having read about her and Mystic Sisters on the Mandrake website. The session was a crystal healing one and was extremely calming at the time. The weeks that have followed have seemed to unfold old patterns and help me develop clearer boundaries that have aided in conserving my energy. I’ve had long Covid and by restructuring where my energy is spent, both physically and emotionally, has helped me feel so much better in myself and calmer in my mind. Thank you Barbara, for your kindness and support, I’m truly grateful.

The hotel is quirky, that's a compliment. But that's where the compliments stop. £800+ for a room for 1 night and the room is, basic and well, unfinished! The sliding door between the bedroom and the 'ensuite' is missing. In its place a huge gap displaying the workings of a studwall! So it means there was ZERO privacy between bathroom/WC and the bedroom. The rest of the room was small... so was flat screen on the wall! A distinct lacking of power points. No heating! No A/C. It just didn't work. We then ate at Jurema Terrace which is the same menu from Yopo restaurant situated in the hotel. Simply over priced and beyond a joke! Then the bombarding waitress forcefully pressuring the sale of Cocktails! If you have the slightest of standards you won't appreciate this venue or hotel! If you are one of these vacuous millennials desperate to post misleading photos depicting a great looking venue - this is the place for you! We booked the Terrace room - 3am the bar closes and like it or not: that's when we could finally sleep due to the excessively loud bar beneath. To conclude. The venue is like night sky - lovely to look at but empty, and if you keep looking up results in a pain in the neck for no reward! AVOID!!!!!!! (The pictures are of a £200 dinner, for some soggy mushrooms, some chips in a white sauce and two tiny bits of average lamb!)

I had a galactic gong experience with Maria, which was not only extraordinary, it was like nothing else I had experienced so far with sound, the resonance was almost like seeing the Aurora for the first time, as the sound travelled through me, bringing about much relief into my tired mussels and restless mind. I highly recommend this experience not just to those who are on a spiritual journey but especially to the sceptics, as it will bring them closer to their authentic self and give them harmony and healing.

I have heard about the Mystic sisters and their events. I went onto their website and found the event called Crystal grid and Crystalline sounds I was very excited as the event was hosted in the Mandrake hotel. The hotel I always wanted to experience ! I enjoyed it so much ! I loved Barbra’s meditation . The Crystal grid and sound was divine ! I am highly recommending this event!!

A beautiful Crystal Grid Activation event inside the exclusive Mandrake Hotel. A beautifully calm space with majestic ambiance welcomes you. We were treated to cosy cushions, blankets and activated refreshment as you settle into Barbras powerful and specialised meditation. The effect is so relaxing with motivating guidance that really inspires. I feel so lucky to attend such an event - highly recommend. Thank you!

We went for a weekend to this hotel which was a good recommendation from a friend and it was a very nice stay . The staff very friendly in specific Fidel who was so nice with us giving us restaurant recommendations and places to visit around ,we had the opportunity to have some cockles in the bar as well. Thank you for that experience and I will recommend this hotel to close people .

I booked a Gong Bath experience at the Mandrake Hotel for my sister's birthday. We arrived and spoke to one of the front of house staff, who asked us to wait. 30 minutes later we were told that the session had been cancelled and we should have received a cancellation email. I double checked and I had not received an email. When I said this to the staff member they refused to believe me and said "clearly you must have missed the email, because you're the only customers to turn up." No help was offered and the attitude and tone of the staff member was dismissive and unhelpful. It made a disappointing situation much worse. I love hotels and this one is stunning to look at, but the customer service is terrible. I turned up to an experience for my sister's birthday, which i had booked and paid for. We were not only told it was no longer on but also that it was our fault for turning up! I had a dinner reservation booked for next week at the hotel which i have now cancelled and I'm having to chase a refund for the Gong Bath experience from another part of the hotel, myself.

Your body tends to become cold when in a meditative state so try to wear layers. Overall, an amazing session. I enjoyed the wide range of sounds from the singing bowls and the gong. 1 hour felt like 5 mins. Went by so quick

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of joining a small group of like-minded women to an oracle reading and sound bath session hosted by Maria of the Mystic Sisters. It was the first time I had attended an intimate event like this and it certainly won’t be the last! It was a beautiful setting we were all put at ease and were treated to a mini reading that was completely spot on. I loved being transported to another space via the sound bath and will definitely return for another session.
