The beds are too short - I'm not unreasonably tall (174cm) but I had to push the pillow right up against the wall, hunched into my shoulders or my feet would hit the edge. My friend who's just 6ft had to curl up on his side to sleep. The common spaces were uncomfortable, with really bright lights and really hard couches and wooden seats. The dorm rooms were cramped with 3 story bunk beds that were really rickety and impossible to climb without causing significant disturbance to your bunk mates. There just wasn't any place to be comfortable there. There were a lot of rules - some reasonable (quiet times between 11pm-7am, no eating in the rooms etc), some seemed a bit OTT (no food in the TV common room, no alcohol after 11pm etc). The worst thing about it was that there were signs plastered all over the place stating that you'd be kicked out for breaking any of these rules - no exceptions or second chances. It felt really heavy handed and unwelcoming. The staff were really surly and unhelpful. The cleanliness was substandard (my friend found a mouldy banana skin squished under his mattress).…
The location is fantastic, barely had to use the tube or buses as everything is practically in walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hostel overall had a great atmosphere. I was staying with a group of friends in the same room and we all agreed we would be more than happy to stay there again. Thank you for making our meet up so amazing. P.S sorry about laughing seal. xD
Everything you would expect from a good hostel, great value if booked in advance also. Sleep quality is the only point lost for me, purely because I’m 6”3’ and the bed wasn’t long enough for me however I’m well aware that I’m above the average height and this wouldn’t be an issue for many people. Staff all great/friendly.
Achually we were stay there totally three days but we,missunderstood about our type of room first of all we think about 3people private type but it's 12People available. .ㅎ please check about when you booking... having fun guys
Very bad experience with the receptionist on duty during evenings! He should be accommodating and nice. All else fine. Cleaners are nice. Bed is soo small and seems like a very old facility. Nice bathroom in second level.
Hostel is in a great location, easy to find and near super markets, parks, bus stops etc. The 24hour reception comes in handy and the workers there are really helpful to guide you and make sure that you have a nice stay. The instructions that they give you for the hostel are nothing more/ nothing less and always according to the site. Also if you message them, they respond quickly and solve all the questions you have, will give you instructions and basically the communication with them is a great experience. The hostel inside is in a great condition, rooms are clean and easy to find and they have a separate spear bathroom in each room. You can also find shared bathrooms and showers!
It really is a great place to stay, the location is perfect for everything, the staff were really helpful and friendly and was able to give you their local knowledge of the area and the best places for local food
You are treated accordingly to what you pay. Staff could do with being a tiny bit more friendly. The bathroom was minuscule but it was clean. Overall I slept 3 and a half hours (and I am certainly not a light sleeper).
the staff was nice but the hostel itself is cramped. there's a group of 60 high school students staying and they were loud, it seemed clean with was nice but there was a bit of an organisational lack check-in and check out is very simple
Compared to other options this has a reasonable price but don't expect much in terms of cleanliness. You're given "clean" bed linens upon check-in but they don't seem to be cleaned properly. The pillow was just full of hair (because apparently they only clean the linens but not the pillow and the thick mattress).
