City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.

Upon arrival, there was confusion about how to get checked-in and even how to get into the building.

I was not sent documentation that would given me the info I needed; however, the phone number on the door gave me access to a representative who helped me in the process. There

Dear Mr Hawkins We are sorry that you had a poor experience at this property and we are taking steps to rectify the issues mentioned. The check in process was not as it should have been as the travel agent that made your booking were not responding to us. This meant that the normal documents and guides were not placed in your apartment as we were not expecting you to check in. Our Receptionist did mention this to you upon your arrival and offered to assist with this. You have mentioned that you are unlikely to come back to London however if you do , please do contact us so we can take care of your booking and make up for your experience.

I mean some can complain about the narrow street entry or possibly a lack of view but i felt like i have been a part of central London forever while staying in a place like this. I

I booked Blackfriars as it is close to my office and I was going to be working late for a couple of nights. I was pleasantly surprised with the decoration of the apartment. A lot of serviced apartments have tired decor but this looked fresh and bright. The sitting room was a grea

I chose to stay here as I was tired of the hotel atmosphere.
What I liked about the apartment was that it was modern, comfortable bed, fully equipped and neat.
Downsides were: Unstable internet connection, the shower only worked on 1 temperature which was HOT, there were a few
