Rude, unprofessional, lazy; those are the only words I can think of when describing the Windmill. They should change business quick because they can't even run a decent pub or even be remoely polite. Judging from the pub, I sure as hell wouldn't trust the b&b. The girl working behind the bar has no manners and is not fit to... More

Great location, Room was very clean and large for normal standards let alone London. Although I was up the top of the hotel, please note there are no lifts and kept getting lost trying to find the bar/reception! Bed very comfortable, great shower. Only thing was it overlooked the pub garden so could have been a little loud if had... More

Refursbished recently, great rooms, great pub, unfortunally very loud at times but it's a pub isnt'it? I go there each time I go London, it's a great location, and has a lot of personality . Nearby shops, tube and cabs. I love the Windmill.

My partner and I stayed in April while on a trip to London. We're a young couple from Ireland, so cheap and cheerful was what we were looking for, even though it is quite far from central London, but easily accessible by Tube or Overground. We ended up getting lost in Acton after getting off the tube at 11 at... More

First of all the place was cold. Insted of looking at the temperature they looked at the calender in deciding weather or not to turrn up the heating. It was late April and rather cold. The solution was to use the (noisy)blow-dryer to heat things up. All the doors of our room stuck. the door to the bathroom did not... More

Friendly staffs and close to station, but not that clean. You need to pay by cash only. There are many pubs, shops, restaurants around; one pub is just on the ground floor of the hotel. We stayed here for one night while coming from Heathrow airport. It is 5 mins in cab from Acton town underground and that station has... More

We went to The Windmill and had soup, beef lunch and ice-cream, which was all very tasty. The atmosphere was nice and what made it was lovely customer service from each person that served our meal. Very reasonably priced (we used Tastecard) and would definitely go back.

Won't be returning. My friend and I wanted a bed to sleep in during our weekend away in London and this was about all we got. It's close to the Acton Underground and Overground and right on the high street, but once you get inside it's another story. You have to walk through the pub (there was a private party... More

This is a run down, ill kept, dark, dingy, dirty hostel ran by a unfriendly woman and her odd staff! We arrived and entered through a nightclub entrance to find the proprietor sat reading the paper, she appeared disinterested in us and our booking! We did not have a print out of our booking so were pointed in the direction... More
