No fuss. Reliable. Couldnt ask for more. I have stayed at the hostel 3 times for four days per stay- every stay has been easy to check in and staff were able to offer an early checkout. Staff are accomadating and friendly.

My daughter paid for ten nights at this dreadful hostel, but was kicked with no warning, reason nor justification on the 27th February 2023. Do not go. I visited my daughter to give her an extra case & sat in the room for a total of 15 minutes to help her. The receptionist then came to the door, with a noise complaint. Not only was the noise complaint completely false and unjustified as we were sat quietly unpacking her case, she then demanded that not only I had to leave the hostel my daughter must leave also. There had been no prior incidents with my daughter in the hostel and they had no true reason to force us vacate the premises immediately. I had advised I was more than happy to leave to allow my daughter to stay, yet the receptionist completely ignored this and insisted my daughter had to leave within 20 minutes. This was at 7pm in the evening on a cold February night, and my daughter had nowhere to stay for the next two nights of her visit- of which she paid for in advance. We were demanded to leave the premises with no explanation nor refund in sight, we couldn’t even get her help on where we could possibly stay instead. Both of us were treated with absolutely no respect, decency or understanding and the receptionists lack of empathy was truly disgusting. Aside from this the hostel is severely noisy throughout all hours of the night, and it is not secure- the second I visited I was thoroughly uncomfortable and concerned knowing that my daughter staying there. This hostel was not only giving visitors the bare minimum in terms of services but their staff are giving the bare minimum in terms of basic human decency. The utter lack of care, respect and compassion for all guests is appalling and I would avoid this hostel at all costs.…

My friends and I stayed in this hostel but were kicked out after one night for having vodka bottles in the room that we got in duty free to bring home. It appears that their motive is to have people kicked out so they can re sell the rooms. We didn’t get a penny of our money back despite paying for 3 nights. They accept cash only which appears very dodgy. We had to go to the ATM for over £500 and we did not feel safe handing this over. The bar underneath the hostel is also very dodgy with a lot of people coming and going on bicycles. Cleaners just storm into your room whenever they want without notice. One shower was broken, rooms are falling apart. Staff aren’t suited for the job. I did not feel safe in this accommodation whatsoever, avoid for your own health and safety.

I booked this hotel and was not told that check in closed at 11pm - despite on my booking advising that i will be arriving around 11:30pm - they still accepted the booking, no call to check if I was still coming, as a result of this I arrived and found the place locked up with nowhere to stay. I then called the next morning to confirm that I would be staying too then be told they had cancelled by booking (all without informing me of this) and that meant that I was in essence room less in London with nowhere to go. the person on the phone when I called didn't really seem to give a toss about the situation or the fact they had re let the room to someone else without making contact first.

Detestable experience: the hostel staff knowingly left me on the street for the whole night the evening of my arrival because of a 30 minute delay in my flight (which they were aware of, since I called them upon arrival at the airport). Staff was finishing closing the bar for the night when I arrived (door was already closed), one staff member saw me through the door, when I told them I was the personn that called them before, they just told me "we're closed", whithout even carring that I would be on the street. Later during my trip, my food placed in the fridge (with my name, room number and departure date!!!) was thrown away without me knowing why by the cleaning team! When I asked the staff for help, they looked as if they didn't care at all, told me they would look into it, but I had no return on that matter. It is furthermore quite difficult to cook on site, because most of the pots available simply do not work with the stove ! Nothing particular to say about the room and the shower though, neither good nor bad.…

Very clean and spacious room and toilets, the kitchen is well equipped, the staff friendly and professional. I traveled a lot and stayed in lots of hostels all around the world, this is one of the best on my list I recommend for sure. Thank you again!!

The staff is wonderful! They are smiling and helpful. When a male guest started to bother me and my friend they pulled us aside and said that we should let them know if they were bothering us - we’ve never felt so safe at a hostel before. If you have a cough they offer tea, they really care about their customers. Alex was especially kind, he provided many laughs and was the high point of our trip. Hostel is close to shops and different means of transportations. Would recommend this place very highly, especially if you aren’t used to staying in hostels. Absolutely wonderful!

Had so much fun! Alex one of the staff members helped my friend and I when we felt uncomfortable by older men giving us looks and harassing us. Had good laughs and the best chats from the staff. Really recommend coming to this place as it's easy to get to and from places and the staff just made the entire place feel like home

I have never felt more unsafe in my life than when I stayed here. If you’re a solo woman seriously don’t stay here unless you like being catcalled every time you enter the hostel. I only stayed a couple of nights and then bolted. You can’t put a price tag on safety.

They have a very good customer service in the reception. The hostel is very clean and have a good size big kitchen. They do have as well very nice park behind the station. We met amazing people there. Of course the conditions are basic as its the cheapest hostel in town but many other people told me its still good comparing to other ones they seen and they were proper travellers.
