Our room stank of urine and the room was so small you couldn’t escape the smell. The carpet had been urinated on and has dried up and was causing an overwhelming smell of urine in the whole room. There were no hairdryers in the room either.
Comfortable bed, reasonable location, food was good, the hotel was very clean and had great services. The staff were lovely and I would definitely go back. There is a train station nearby which makes it easy to get around.
We were visiting to go to Abba and had our original booking cancelled on us. We came across Good hotel and thought it would be ok for what we needed. The rooms are on the small side and the bathroom door is pretty pointless as there are gaps at the top and bottom, so be careful if it’s your first romantic getaway! Location was lovely on a sunny day, breakfast was great and if we had booked earlier we may have got a better price. The view from the roof top bar is beautiful.
great hotel, with fab ethics, awesome location and great place stay before a flight at city airport which was minutes away the next morning. Also next to the emirates cable car so we took a quick ride on that before our flight too.
First of all I’ll start by saying I love the good hotel franchise and everything that it stands for. However on this occasion it just did not meet four star standards. On arrival I was checked into a room that had an awful smell coming from the drain, plus stains on the sheets and carpets. Staff were accommodating and moved me to a second room. Although this room did not have a smell, it still had multiple stains on the sheets and towels and carpets. I also kept finding hair sticking to my feet and on other surfaces throughout the room. The room is very small, the bathroom in particular is quite comical with a door that doesn’t close floor to ceiling. In such a small space with no opening windows… it got a little unpleasant. Walls are incredibly thin, I could here everything that was going on in the next room particularly them flushing the toilet. In my opinion it’s not a 4 star hotel.…
Stayed one night as couple, location is excellent and was very excited with the concept and styling. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the branding and look., and probably needs a few more thoughts to have gone into it. The rooms are small, which is fine, but not pristine. In the bathroom there was hair and fluff on the shelf, the carpet was stained, in a vase in the room was someone’s card and the lid from a pint of milk, the sheets had marks. I found the plug situation a bit bizarre, as the plug by the desk is on the floor and the kettle doesn’t reach if you set it on the desk. There is a U.K. plug in a cupboard in the headboard which it might have been nice to be notified about and the other plug is one european and one U.K. Throughout the hotel in communal areas the plugs are european which was a pain as I needed to work and charge my laptop. The coffee and teas are stored in the cups, so you have to tip it all out onto the tray, which seems messy when they could just provide a little box. No warning about the fire alarm test which went off at about 8.30-9 ish Monday morning. Sound proofing also terrible. The worst was the bed- metal frame with two single mattresses and two toppers pushed together to make a double which slid apart through the night and one or other of us ended up in “the hole” and lying on the metal frame. We had to get up multiple times in the night to push the bed back together so didn’t sleep brilliantly- which essentially is what you want when you book a hotel. Bit of a fail and lack of thought for what could be an incredible place.…
Absoutely loved our stay at the hotel. We absolutely loved waking up with an incredible view of the docks out our window (the fact that the hotel is on the water brought us closer to that view than other hotels can manage). There were just several other details that made this such a unique hotel, such as the swing in the lobby. It is a bit of a distance to get to, but we were very satisfied overall.
This is a nice play to stay for a short trips. Rooms are small but this seems normal in London hotels. The underground station is 10 minutes walking. Best part was that the rooms were very clean and comfortable to have a good rest.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, my colleague and I were doing handover and we were able to work in the open area downstairs comfortably, with excellent wifi, it worked really well for us. It was good that a social enterprise hotel like this exists in London.
The room is clean and tidy, but the size is a little small especially the shower room. Good environment and river view. The surrounding atmosphere is good for leisure walking. Should provide slippers to use in room.
