Stayed for one night only. We stayed in room 12 on the top floor at the back of building. Our room was extremely tired in decor and paint work. The toilet seat was loose. The bedroom window would not open. The description on the website is really not accurate at all. The whole place needs a complete refurbishment. When I... More

Hotel was clean and friendly. It is more of a B & B than a hotel. Breakfast was not included and on reflection I think we would have been better walking into the town to get breakfast. It was ok but for £7.50 I would have expected more choice. The staff were friendly. The walls are quite thin. Would go... More

I stayed here out of convenience as i was visiting friends nearby. The hotel is easy to find, has parking and is around 10mins walk from the train station. It was reasonably priced for a saturday night. The hotel classes itself as 'boutique' however in all my many stays in hotels around the world - this isn't boutique. There are... More

I usually stay in other hotels but all were full so I found this place on trip advisor. It's a little quirky but OK. It describes itself as boutique, I have stayed in other boutique hotels and this one does not really qualify as boutique. It was clean, room furniture was getting a bit tatty/worn, comfy bed, functional shower. Wifi... More

The hotel was clean and very comfortable. My husband ordered fruit for breakfast and I admit I was expecting the tinned variety but no, it was a freshly prepared bowl of lovely fruit. The location was fabulous and was walking distance to the town and village. Another advantage was the parking. I would definitely stay there again if I was... More

I stayed with my wife in a visit to some friends. We found the booking through the hotel site very straight forward. One main reason we booked was the free parking and this was our first time in this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the privacy. The staff were very friendly and made sure... More

We stayed in this hotel following a family function nearby. We were a little bit delayed in arriving but after calling the hotel number, the front door was remotely opened and we were wished a pleasant stay by the owner. The double room was clean and warm. We opted not to have breakfast as we were leaving early. The ensuite... More

Great overall stay, greeted by friendly staff who were most welcoming. Having on-site parking is wonderful meaning I could stay in bed for that bit longer without collecting my car if it were parked a few streets down. The room itself was clean and tidy just like the picture online. Breakfast was also nice and tasty.
