The room was filthy and had what looked like mould on the walls in the bathroom. Even the sheets on the bed were grimy. We had to check out straight away and we complained at the front desk, the staff just laughed.

Location is good, however the room is not very nice. It doesn't look like the pictures at all. It was dark and cheap inside. Our room overlooked a yard full of rubbish. Very disappointing. I wish I had read all these reviews before I stayed there.

The reality of this hotel is nothing like the pictures on the website. The family room was shabby and basic, and could have been cleaner. Despite a no smoking policy, the smell of cigarette smoke was overpowering last thing in the evening and first thing in the morning. The hotel was functional but definitely oversold on the website, and over...

Let's start with the positives- the bed was a clean , small double bed. It was ok just to get our heads down after the theatre. The bathroom was pretty clean. There was tea and coffee, hair drier and iron. The rooms were tiled, so easy enough to keep clean, however, combined with the stud partitioned walls it was very noisy....

The room is small and disgusting, my bed is on wheels and moves every time I sit on it, cracks on the walls, radiator hanging off, smallest bathroom ever, view of an old topless man smoking out his window. The room and the bathroom are smaller than my bedroom at home. I would hate for anyone to stay here. It's...

Didn't even make it inside the hotel as, based on inconsistent information provided by Expedia and the hotel website, they are open a total of SIX hours (if that) of the day. Yes, the hotel hours of operation, shared only on the door of the hotel (printed on a piece of paper with incorrect English and written in adjustments) are...

Where to start. Firstly they didn't respond to an email query I had about leaving bags, ignored my first call and only text after my second call. They took the payment early (not on arrival). The room was dirty and damp, had cobwebs everywhere, the window didn't open, the room was in the basement, fire doors left open everywhere and...

Stayed here as a late Valentine's Day treat. Room size was impressive. But that's about it. The bed was the loudest bed ever! Just sitting on it made it creak. There were two TVs in the room which was nice. Bathroom was nice and clean. Modern rooms but very narrow stairs to get to the room. We stayed downstairs so...

Room B may be big but that did not make up in any way for the state of the room. It was dirty, cobwebs on every wall, damp in the corner, part of a condom packet behind the sofa bed, dust in the cupboard, grime on the iPod dock, scum and mould in the bathroom. We asked to be moved...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
