Within a couple of minutes of Baker St Station and on one of the main routes out of London going North towards Lord's. Check in was fine at 146 Gloucester Pl and I was next door in 148 - all part of the same business. Lovely old style terraced house converted into modern room. I was in C16 which had... More

I stayed in this cozy spot based on an Internet search and lack of knowledge about the surrounding area. The suites were on a busy street, but my room was shielded from noise. It had a kitchenette unit that was absolutely perfect for my needs. Great shower too! Room was small, but for one, it worked well. I would go... More

Leonardo gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. The room was clean and had all facilities we required including ironing board, crockery and toaster. A local Costa and tesco express supplied us with all we needed for a perfect stay. I would not recommend the sherlock Holmes museum if you are on a budget as the £15 is not value for money...... I quite liked the stay and the bed was comfortable. Room was very clean and the staff were very helpful when we had a problem with the booking on the initial booking. Could not ask for better customer service. We stayed in the studios and it's a few doors down the road but easy enough to access.

Spacious apartment with excellent cooking facilities. Well situated just 500metres from Baker street station. There is a Tesco very close by so location is excellent Excellent wifi connection - Bathroom small but ok but the lighting is very poor for anyone trying to put on make-up! There is no lift.

We booked this place at the last minute when an Air BnB cancelled on us. London is notoriously expensive for accomodation, so we decided to book something reasonably priced. For what we paid, the place was decent. It was clean enough, but the walls had marks on them, as did the shower. (I tried not to look too closely.) We... More

I would come back and stay again. It is very conveniently located. The room is compact but has everything you need. The manager is very, very, very helpful. Made my stay pleasant and eased any issues I had first time spending a week in London, UK by myself dropping off my kid for school here.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
