Horrible place. Great location. Walls are paper thin. Staff is no use when it comes to noise complaints. Do not recommend. Dont be fooled by its cheap prices. Hotel travelodge right down the road maybe 100 meters away is cheaper. And better. If you dont want that try airbnb. Impossible to find a worse place for this ridiculous price. You... More

First of all, LSE Grosvenor House is very well located. The subway station is two blocks away. Covenant garden is two blocks away (beside the subway station). The National Gallery is close by. Picadilly Circus is at 15 minutes walk. The British museum is at 20 minutes walk. If you are coming from Heathrow Airport, take the Picadilly line (blue... More

Very basic student accommodation Has everything you need ... Not nessecarily everything you want. But cheap as chips and great location Ideal for those travelling the capital on a budget We had a small bathroom with a shower, two single beds and a small writing desk. No to or tea making facilities Secure reception area Can't complain

Stayed at the LSE for three nights in September. Room was adequate and fairly tidy/clean. Rooms are quite hot and we had our windows always open - days and night. Fan is provided and we utilised this whenever we were in the room... The inside of the fan was COVERED with dust.. But it only took two minutes to un... More

My husband and I shared a double studio. The room was spacious enough and there was everything provided for a short home from home stay. The room was very clean and there were tea bags and milk etc provided together with new dish sponge and washing up liquid. The shower/toilet was clean but small. I had to request toilet roll... Taking a summer course in LSE, and so stayed here with family for the convenience of daily travel. This is in fact student housing, available for outsiders during summer. Price is cheap for a double room and with fridge, cooking hood, microwave, basic cutlery and a pot, so that it's possible for my wife to make some hot breakfast for... More

If very basic and plain is your thing then this place is for you. Very good location, close to Covent Garden but the fact is it is student accommodation. I was disappointed after the photos on the website. I won't be visiting again. Does the job but nothing to rave about.

The room was satisfactory, but the facilities were unreliable. Pin the first instance the refrigerator failed and I lost food worth 6.5 GBP. I spent almost 12 GBp for a high protien breakfast to replace the food lost. The staff did did get my refrigerator working. However, on my last the the refrigerator again failed and I lost another 6.50... More

I was impressed by the pictures on the LSE site and even more so for the cost of a night stay for two in the heart of London. £100. The location is fantastic for the theatres and Covent Garden is on the doorstep. With a further 5 minute walk you are down by the Strand, a further 5 minutes and... More

Although the location is ideal to all the theatres, we found the room extremely disappointing. The front of house staff were very helpful and accommodating. However ....... There was no tv as is in the pictures, there is no mirror in the room only a small one over the bathroom sink. The mattresses (twin beds), had springs sticking into us,... More
