We always go for a steak and we are never disappointed, nice food, nice decor and atmosphere, restaurant always full, so this is a good sign :) you can park at the back at the hotel, so this is also a plus! Prices are really reasonable! I've never been over the weekends when the serve roast, but friends always go!

Old fashioned appearance, car parking space [free] at rear. Warm welcome from staff, rooms basic, clean, breakfast O.K, price brilliant. You get what you pay for, its ideal for adult stay, not disabled as stairs to every room. Will be back.

I stayed here as I was going to another pub locally for my cousins's birthday and wanted somewhere fairly modest to stay. I booked about 3 days before I arrived, was not asked for a deposit and it was all very relaxed, something which is fairly rare particularly in London. When I arrived on the Saturday, the lady behind reception... More

This is the first time we stayed here' and we really enjoyed out time here . The staff are nice and helpful even when we asked for hairdryer as the room we had did not have one. You might have locals in the bar being a to loud but that's par for the course . Good choice of beers and... More

My family are staying here, two rooms over a couple of nights, so they've spent a pretty penny. That place isn't cheap. We had visited the same hotel previously, and though the rooms were in an awful state, the heating was never turned on even when requested, and the water was freezing, but we were desperate, so we gave them... Pleasantly surprised with this place. Room was clean and had what you needed. Pillows were so nice we even took one out of the case to find the name of the make. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was lovely.

We stayed for one night. Didn't have breakfast, but this is included in the price. We booked a family room, very comfortable, clean, very happy, would definitely stay again. Didn't have breakfast due to early start back home, but we had a meal in the restaurant, meal was nice, but the young lady that served us was a bit keen... More

This hotel came recommended by a friend of ours who lives in Chingford. He had used the bar and restaurant but never the accommodation. The place is lovely. It is pristine clean, the rooms are nicely decorated and the staff can't do enough for you. A full English breakfast is included. It is located on the outskirts of London, lots... More

Great view, friendly staff but the glasses are consistently dirty and the draught beer is terrible. I've been in a couple of times now and the beer is not well kept - we've sent back cloudy, sour pints twice and the bar staff didn't seem at all surprised. This pub could be great but please try harder with the beer!
