The stay has horrific! I'm pretty sure they were swearing at me in a different language! I also caught one of the staff peeking through a keyhole... :S it was all bizarre, I felt I was on a reality tv show expecting someone to come out and say I've been punk'd but they never did! Also the toilet needs a...

I have stayed here twice before this was the third and the last time. The first couple of times I stayed here was 2 years ago, and the hotel was basic but clean, newly decorated and modern bathrooms, BUT 2 YEARS ON IT IS TERRIBLE!!!!!! There is mould all over the walls, celings and bathroom, very run down and dirty,...

Dont believe the photos - I did! I stayed in a downstairs room with paint peeling off the walls. The sheets and duvet were terrible. For coffee making there was no milk ever. Bed was soft and uncomfortable. The shower was just a dribble of water. On the final morning the power was off and had to get them to...

Considering the prices of the hotels in London, and the bad conditions of the cheap hotel/hostels, this place is great. It has two houses, we were in the new one, and the rooms were clean and wide, the kitchen really new (with vitro, oven and microwave). Only two objections: our room was in the attic, and it had a window...

Choose it as need to find something quick and quite cheap. Was not expecting much of this place after reading all reviews. Place was quite clean and not noizy, my room was on the last floor and due to heavy rain the roof was leaking (luckily not on the bed!!!). Would not really recommend to stay here.

Stayed at Lodge 51 for 1 night. I chose it because it wasn't too far from the London Marathon start and the price was good. I would not recommend lodge 51 as the bedding was dirty and didn't fit the bed or the grotty duvet on the bed. My nights sleep was disturbed by the constant noise of what I'm...

Decent value for money, if you paid this price to stay in London you cant expect 5 star. I echo other reviewers saying that there is much room to improve the overall feel and decor of the place but i dont know that the money spent would benefit the owners enough. Overall it is great for a quick stay but...

For £40 it wasn't bad...depending on how much you're expecting. Met by the owner who was very polite and had promised to save 1 of the 4 parking spaces. Trues to his word there was one. Inside despite reserving a single room with shared washing facilities as he had a double with ensuite spare I could have that instead. In...

I had to cancel a booking here, I didn't actually stay. Staff were SO rude and unhelpfull......I understand there is a cancellation policy however would it not it be good customer service to offer the booking on an alternative date???This is clearly an independent hotel and so it would of been in their interest to do this....I made so many...
