As others have commented, getting to the back part of the hotel takes forever(maze like), but the advantage was that it was quiet for our 1 night Fri stay. We were lucky we had towels, wifi and tv included since it was via agoda.com. I asked for early check and was willing to pay the fee but they said no check in was possible before 1pm. We were after travelling sleepless from Greece via Manchester and did not dispute it, so we came back after 3pm wet from the rain(only sunshine we had to sightsee was before 2pm so made the most of it :)). I gave up on going to reception continuously due to the distance(no phone); the missing tv remote was replaced and then tv remote would not work at all. Shower was nice and strong, aircon/heating was not needed or was on a timer, bed was comfy but two singles pushed together, location was good.

We decided on booking this hotel due to the price & location. Couldn’t have picked better! It’s so close to everything. Just a short walk to Mathew Street to see The Cavern Club and various other Beatles sights. In the other direction is Albert Docks with The Beatles statue, Museum of Liverpool and stops for either of the hop on/off buses. Liverpool One shopping Centre is very close too. There are many restaurants on the same street & their prices were quite reasonable. Sainsbury’s across the road meant we could buy a few supplies for our stay however we didn’t have a fridge in our room so we were limited in what we could have. Greggs next door had drinks, pastries & hot food. The hotel is divided into Hotel A & B. We were in Hotel B. It was a bit of an effort to find our room. We had to take the lift up to the First Floor then walk through a maze of twists & turns till we came to a staircase which we had to take back down to the Ground Floor which is where our room was located. After nearly 30 hours of traveling and with some heavy suitcases we could’ve done without this. There is no bell hop service. If you were traveling with anyone elderly you would need to make sure you were allocated a room in Hotel A. The room itself was clean, beds were comfortable, staff were friendly. The rooms are only serviced after 3 nights but you can ask at reception for extra shampoo, body wash or toilet paper if you need it. Free WiFi worked extremely well. Easy to connect & the speeds were excellent. There is no phone in the room to contact front desk. If we needed anything we had to go back to reception. No tea & coffee making supplies in the room however tea, coffee & light snacks can be purchased at Reception. All in all this is a nice place however if you book here remember you’re getting a low budget hotel. Don’t expect anything fancy.

Hello Fadedjeans, Thank you for taking the time to review Tune Liverpool, as we greatly appreciate all your feedback. We take it into consideration to better our service. We're glad that you enjoyed our location as this is something we are proud of. we do apologise for the confusing layout as we are in a Grade II listed building, we count ourselves to be very lucky that we're in this building. But with this we get a very quirky layout. We're delighted to hear that you found our staff to be "friendly" and that you we're pleased with your room and bed. We do appreciate this review and we do hope we can see you again in the future as we value your custom. Kind regards, Ridley

Stayed one night. Yes, it was noisy outside at times in the early hours/early morning, rubbish being collected etc rather than rowdiness. Tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice as would the option of breakfast. But the room was clean (and sparse!) and it was a good location to walk to Pier Head and city centre. I would probably stay there again.

Hi Keith A, Thank you for your review in regards to your recent nights stay here with us at Tune. We are glad you enjoyed our central location and that the cleaningness was to your satisfaction. We are a limited service hotel and that is why we do not have breakfast or tea/coffee making facilities. There are a few good breakfast options around us (some of which we discount) and we have a 24 hrs reception where you can purchase hot drinks or ask for hot water if need it. We do hope to see you again soon, Kind Regards. Marta

Great location and clean. The hotel is a bit of a maze and easy to get lost. However for price and location that can be suffered. Friendly staff. Ordered taxi's for us. Close to loads of restaurants and nightlife. Would definitely recommend and would stay at again.

Hi MrsKay1965, Thank you for your review in regards to your recent nights stay here with us at Tune. We are glad you enjoyed our central location and found the cleaningness satisfactory. We are located in a Grade II listed building and that is why it might be a bit tricky to get to some rooms but we always try to explain the way as best as we can, and also there are signs on walls to help our guests navigate around the building. We do hope to see you again soon, Kind Regards. Marta

We stayed for one night. It was a cheap stay, clean rooms, but basic amenities. Comfy bed and slept ok but wouldn’t want to stay longer. It was like a rabbit warren to find our room. Got lost several times. Car park was away from hotel and they substituted the fee.
