Hotel backs on to 2 nightclubs, pounding music went on until 3.30am. Avoid rooms 7-11 like the plague. Pre-booking info. warned about possible noise from function room in the studio, nothing about the surrounding nightclubs. Wrote twice to the hotel for their comment, not even a courtesy reply. Room9 (ours) has window that cannot be closed, allowing the noise in.

Stayed here on a number of occasions while visiting the city. The location is great within walking distance of all local attractions, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is different and quirky. Don't expect five star standard but it is clean and comfortable, very affordable and the staff are very helpful. The adjacent bar - The Attic Bar is well... More

Stayed here with my girlfriend for a night as it was her 21st birthday, perfect place for young people who just need a clean comfy place if sleep. Location was excellent, plenty of car parking nearby (don't forget to barter with the car park guys) and ideal when location is more important then luxury. Big thanks to the cleaners who... More

Quirky use of an old and interesting building and staff are nice but unless you are out partying until dawn dont stay here. Thumping music from club next door until 4am vibrating through the floor and walls. When you can hear the lyrics in your room it isnt worth your hard earned cash. Needs a good clean and some maintenance.... More

Well........to be fair.......for some people there is probably quite a lot "not to like"........but for the purposes of our visit, it was perfect. Lynda and I stayed here on two successive Sunday nights in October. I had to make a few trips to Liverpool to sort out my aunt's estate, and some weeks previously, I had stayed in the Liner... More

So we arrive to a shabby entrance and you're not even sure if you're in the right place. For £88 per night you expect something bigger than a room you can just about swing a cat in and a bathroom which is the size of a closet. No decorations, no carpet, 1 towel each but no hand towels or mats... More

Very central and bustling location, just over 10 minutes' walk from Lime Street station and really close to a lot of restaurants, bars and clubs (Brunch Club on Duke Street great for brunch, wonderful tapas at Neon Jamon on Berry Street). Friendly staff. Spacious room with comfortable beds. Two basins in bathroom. Interesting building. V cheap mini bar. Sensible lighting!... More

Very basic, no breakfast food at all available. There where long black hairs everywhere including in the bed. The room could do with a proper clean. There is a lift, the old type with two heavy pull and push doors that you have to use to even get to the hotel floors. As my header states, you get what you... More

I shared a twin room at the hotel with a friend, as we were up in Liverpool for a Friday evening event. We chose it because it was near to the venue we needed to get to, and because of the very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, and throughout our stay. Our room was lovely... More

The street where the hotel is situated does not feel well in the evening. It's a bit of a back street. I walked passed it twice before I realized it was just there. The building also serves as a studio. The guy at the reception was perfectly polite and helpfull. The view from the window was a back wall. There... More
