The staff can’t do enough for you here - friendly - professional and welcoming The rooms are spotless and a good size Location was perfect for us to have a walk round the city centre and the docks We have stayed here a few times now as we love it so much
My partner and I stayed here for a 3 night stay in September 2020. Hotel was in a very central location, short walk to many pubs, restaurants and shops, we did not use public transport at all during our stay. The recommended car park is also close by and the hotel provide a discount for using this which is really helpful as it is quite expensive but very safe and secure to leave your car parked up. There is a Tesco express right next door to the hotel which is handy if you need anything. We stayed in an executive room which was very spacious, large bed, en-suite bathroom, wardrobe and dressing table. The room was nicely decorated (plane/travelled theme) and was very clean. Due to current coronavirus restrictions, the room was only cleaned after we had finished our stay. Towels, toiletries, iron and tea and coffee making facilities all available. The bed was very comfy and the shower was spacious and good standard. Our section of the hotel was very quiet and we had no disturbances, our room was at the end of the corridor which meant we only had one room joined with us but heard no noise. The TV had a selection of channels and the WiFi worked well. The breakfast was collection only, a small brown bag with a selection of cold items (cereal and milk, fruit and juice etc.) for the price paid I would have expected at least something hot. We only took breakfast on one occasion during our stay as we didn’t feel it was up too much. We did have an issue with our booking as we arrived late and had already been charged without noticing so paid again on arrival therefore being charged twice for the room. This was easily resolved and refunded however, on arrival we were told the price for our room had changed? Still not entirely sure the reason for this. Staff were friendly and always spoke to you when entering/leaving. Did like the fact the key card had to be used when entering the building at any time, made you feel very safe. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed our first visit to Liverpool. We have stayed in many Ibis hotels and they are always to a high standard and have never had a negative experience. …
Stayed here for a couple of nights will definitely go back.Nothing was to much trouble for front of house staff, very polite allways willing to help. The rooms were compact but very quirky.Close to all amenities short walk from cavern quarter, the ideal place to stay.
Hospitality is all about people. Ibis has nailed it by having an excellent team at the Liverpool Centre hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff who provided us guidance on eveyrthing we needed. We had our pet staying with us and they helped store his wet food in the kitchen for us, which ensured he had his food fresh when he needed it! They maintained excellent measures to ensure we do our best to prevent spreading COVID19. Always wore masks, had sanitizers everywhere and also ensured that even lift access was restricted with a very obvious notice board. This is something I truly appreciate as I have seen places where the rules state something and what they practiced were a bit contradictory. The complementary breakfast was simple but fulfilling. Being vegans, they kindly provided us with the vegan alternatives for everything they served their non-vegan guests. Due to COVID19, there was no longer a buffett, but a packed breakfast, they they had neatly labelled for us to collect. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay with the staff making sure that we were warmly welcomed. Regarding noise levels - it is the city center, so on a Friday/Saturday night, it can get noisy outside but if you close the windows, all of it is gone. Room looked a lot bigger in the pictures, but was just cosy enough for a couple with a dog. Location is everything - city centre! walk out and you get to all the eat-outs and enjoy the nightouts. I wish I asked the names of the staff to mention on my reviews. I didn't. So I am just going to say that I would go back again if I have my next trip. There is plenty of parking behind the buidling in an NCP car park, where you could park your car overnight for a discounted price if you are staying at Ibis. …
We stayed for 1 night. The room was quite small but enough for the 1 night. The room was very quirky with a fab photo emblazoned on the wall behind the bed of the crowd waiting to meet the Beatles, very impressed with that!! The bed was lovely & comfortable, breakfast in a bag consisted of;- Orange Juice Milk Yoghurt Croissant Apple Jam & Marmalade Kelloggs Corn Flakes, again impressive. On the whole it was a great stay.
