One room with breakfast cost £288. We visited Liverpool for the legends match - fun football for charity. It was really difficult to find rooms for this particular Saturday despite looking just after Christmas. Probably one of the better IBIS hotels. Room very clean, en-suite good, bed comfy, breakfast better than most Ibis hotels but very poor value for money. This hotel sells as low as £69 a night but quadrupled the rate for this weekend.
It was pretty disappointing...rooom adequate but bathroom minute..smelly and freezing.room heating didnt work so slept with coats on bed. Staff friendly location great but lots of glitches. Wouldnt book again. 1 night only
Great location. Parking was easy. Breakfast offered a lot of choice and so fresh. Staff friendly. We had two rooms with adjoining entrance. Rooms were a great size and loved the themes. Clean and tidy throughout.
Always stay here when visiting Liverpool. Very central, close to main attractions. staff is very helpful, nothing is too much to ask. The free hot drinks behind the bar is a plus in cold days, breakfast has an amazing variety.
I had a rare night away to enjoy the football and choose the Ibis hotel as they are highly established company. And is in a good location . How ever the nights sleep was awful. A 2inch topper (felt like a gym matt) on a 5inch queen bed , is not my idea of comfort. It was like laying on the floor. I could hear the neighbouring rooms toilet flushing through out the night , which made it worse . The room was to satisfactory as far as it comes to hygiene. I emailed the company who then passed it on to Ibis, I came to check out and was asked how my stay was and I told the lady it was awful , she was a little struck by my response . She went to get a manger who came to offer me a complimentary breakfast how ever it was already included in my booking. Which I declined as I was tired an just wanted to leave . The manager tried telling me how much praise they get for there beds been comfy I find that very hard to believe. Once you pay for your booking and room all customer service goes out the window they couldn't care less about you . Like I said my first night away for many many years and I'm sad that my stay was spoilt by my experience at this hotel. So if a manager or higher would like to reach out to me that would be amazing…
Nicely styled room, but the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, especially for a hotel of this cost. It was 2* Greek self catering level of comfort. There were no plug sockets next to the bed so you are unable to charge your phone and also have use of it unless you are up and sitting in the chair. The shower had decent power but went scalding hot when next door flushed their toilet. Which you could hear very loudly whenever they did. It was a decent clean room, but it wasn’t great and I would be unlikely to stay here again if I were to come back to Liverpool.
Stayed 2 nights, adequate for the price. Modern & clean. Comfy bed. V cold at night & heating had no effect. Bathroom felt a bit like a luxury portacabin but ok for 1 or 2 nights. Great location for walking to all Liverpool highlights. Defo recommend Tate & waterfront walk
Had tickets for a show in Liverpool so decided to stay over and make a day of it. Good location and handy that it offers discounted parking at the NCP around the corner Room was clean and comfortable. Basic facilities but we were only using it as a place to sleep. Staff friendly on arrival and check out. Love the Beatles theme, a must for Liverpool.
It a nice hotel but i would say basic. Our room was clean and we were given early check in on arrival at around lunchtime which was fantastic. The hotel is within close walking distance to the main shopping streets, bars and restaurants and also just a short walk to the docks. The lobby/reception/bar area is all one area and quite small but fine for a quick drink. Didn't have breakfast in hotel there are a few places right outside hotel for breakfast. We requested rooms together and we got them all right beside each other so we really appreciated that. Its a cashless hotel.
The hotel is in a great location! Great Beatles themed hotel. The Continental breakfast had so much to choose from my only issue was that the restaurant is not closed off from the front door so every time the door opened it got quite cold! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying!
