The building itself and reception area is lovely. The room was clean but extremely dated in terms of decor and amenities. The bed was comfortable so did have a good nights sleep. It is in a central location, near to the docks and Liverpool One. On the whole an 'ok' stay but wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again. Also slightly disappointed that given the price there was no breakfast is offered.

Don’t go to this hotel the photos of the rooms are false , wardrobe doors only one , taps that swivel in on the sink , bathroom doors that lock you in , towels had smoother sandpaper . Breakfast not up to much over charged for room . Would sleep in the gutter rather than stop at this place

Venue room was beautifully set out and a good time was had by all at the function, buffet food was palatable. BedRooms are extremely tired and in need of a full makeover keeping in character with the building itself . Staff friendly . Breakfast room again needs an overhaul, and we had to wait until everyone who stayed at the hotel was seated before we had our food served .Breakfast itself was acceptable all be it well done. 1 nights enough , should have stayed across the road in the Mecure hotel for the same price as this hotel definitely wasn’t worth the money we paid .Very BASIC. Faulty Towers comes to mind .

Wouldn't have bothered leaving a comment if I'd had a proper response from this place but I've given them a few days. Shocking! Made a reservation, turned up on time, restaurant closed, no chef! Wouldn't go now near this miserable place ever again.

I have just visited the Ziba restaurant for afternoon tea with my family. I purchased it through Living social. The afternoon tea was delicious lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. The lady who served us was very friendly and obliging sorry I didn.t get her name.Excellent service and value. I look forward to visiting again in the near future. Thank you.
