Although our one night stay (for 2) was only £44 we were more than happy with the Nelson! The room was very clean and comfortable, with large TV, Wifi, good shower, coffee tea etc. Would have liked cooked breakfast or even options for evening meal but at this price the continental breakfast was really fine. As this was our first... More

The wife and I stayed here for one night and couldn't really fault it. The location is fantastic your right by Liverpool Lime Street station and right where you wanna be. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need for a quick stay. Breakfast is continental which isn't my idea of breakfast but it filled a gap,... More

Paid £48 on Agoda for one night. Just needs somewhere close to the centre that didn't require me to re-mortgage my house to stay there! Hotel is like a tardis. We was placed on the very top right at the back of the hotel, room had a sky light only. Lift only takes you two floors and you have to... More

When it comes to a review of the rooms, 'weird' is definitely the word which came to mind. Prison is another. The ceilings are super high but the window was frosted so that I had no view (of the side of Liverpool Lime Street station). The light above my bed was so bright it could probably be seen from space.... More

We stayed for 1 night in a triple room. The room and bathroom were clean and adequate for the purpose. The only problem i have is that my money has still not been refunded. I originally booked a twin room, had to change it to a triple room because my daughter decided to join us. I was told on booking... More

When we arrived here the lady behind reception asked if I could pay by cash as the card system was down. I hadn't got enough cash so she said can you draw some out. I said I would when I went into town. I did draw the cash out but eventually paid another receptionist using my credit card. The hotel... More

Great location for a fab night out in Liverpool. Decent continental breakfast, tea, coffee, orange juice, choice of 5 cereals, brown & white toast, cheese, ham, yoghurts, fresh fruit. If you fancy a cooked brekkie there is a Wetherspoons 1 minute away. Really friendly staff well they are scousers after all so they would be! The room I had was... More

I booked this place because of its central position - also, I needed a 3-bed room, and something not expensive. Our room at the top of the hotel was fine - a good size, very clean, all the basic things one needs. The price was £125 which included breakfast - served buffet style and quite adequate - plenty of cereals,... More

Stayed at this hotel with my partner 25th October overnight ,we have been passed guests and enjoyed it ,the hotel has a homely atmosphere, and although it could do with a bit of modernisation , is spotlessly clean, with comfy rooms and nice big clean bathroom , the thing that makes this hotel worth the stay is it's friendly staff who...
