I booked hotel on behalf of my parent for a wedding in July this year through Hotels.com on a non refundable basis. The wedding was postponed until the same weekend next year 2021. Having tried to contact Hotels.com with no luck I eventually emailed the hotel direct. The Liner Hotel were absolutely amazing. They moved the booking to the same weekend next year and honoured the price. I cannot believe how accommodating they were. Thank you The Liner Hotel. I am still waiting for a refund on flights from April so the Liner response and they way they handled it is absolutely AMAZING and I would definitely recommend them. Thank you Liner Hotel for helping my parens not to lose £200. You are amazing

Booked the Liner for just 1 night as we were supposed to be catching a coach to Southampton for our cruise early the next morning. Three days before we were going, the cruise was cancelled. We decided to use the hotel anyway and booked tickets for a show at the Royal Court theatre. We had dinner at the hotel beforehand and the food was excellent, as was the show by the way. We were impressed by the hotel, which was very clean with comfortable beds and great staff. We would definitely stay at The Liner again.

We travel to Liverpool a dozen times a year to see family & son at University. Have tried many many great hotels and enjoyed all, so The Liner came a real surprise. Not least because we'd not come across it before. Formally the Gladstone Hotel it is situated across from Lime Street station. From the outside it does appear forbidding in that very 1960's brutalistic concrete style, yet inside it is not just warm and welcoming but a real tribut to 1930's great White Star and Cunard Liners. The lobby fish tan is a real WOW! Staff are amazing - Hello to Diane on breakfast - cheered our day up no end. Try The Liner you will not be dissapointed.

My husband and I stayed at the Liner and we loved it. The staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The breakfast and dinner was really good and the room was very clean. We also loved the big fish tank with all the exotic fish! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I think it’s worth more than a 3 star. Thank you again for making our stay so special.

Stayed just one night n this hotel, midweek. Location was perfect. The hotel was very good, staff brilliant. Had one problem that was sorted in record time, too trivial to mention. My wife and I are looking forward to staying here again, probably with some family members which will be amazing. To manager and staff at The Liner, thanks a lot. Staying at The Liner and I wasn’t seasick, brilliant
