Dear Miss Benson,

An excellent hotel in central Liverpool near to Lime street Rail station and the city centre

If you did want to use Liverpool airport, you can to Dublin from JFK and then on to Liverpool. In my opinion though, a direct flight to Manchester is better then onward via the direct train service to Liverpool Lime Street (5 minutes walk from the hotel) as per the above advice. Have a great trip, it's a great town.
