Stayed here for one night in October to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, service and welcome exceptional. Kerry kindly upgraded us to a lovely room on the 11th floor with river and Liver Building views. The staff also brought a bottle of Prosecco to our room to mark our celebrations. Nice cooked breakfast in the morning too. Hotel was very Covid safe, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were wearing masks and observing social distancing. Thanks to Kerry and all the team - will definitely stay again!

I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist Kerry welcomed me with a warm friendly smile and amazing vibration. She was very helpful and welcoming. Wore her mask the whole time and kept safe distance. I request a room with a sea view, I was given an amazing room with a view on the 11th floor and made fully welcome especially at this COVID times, I was earth to check it but they already had the room prepared. The hotel was very clean and there were direction signs, hand sanitiser and signs to keep mask on everywhere to keep visitors safe. They have closed door policy in place and every time I left/returned the staff were friendly each time. Definitely recommend it to anyone stay there.

Myself and my team stayed in this hotel for 12 days whilst working in the area. I honestly can’t praise this hotel or it’s staff and management highly enough. In the middle of a second lockdown of this insane pandemic, the staff here went above and beyond in making sure not only myself and my team were comfortable and catered for, but with all the 120+ Guests that they had to run room service for on a daily basis for. Also. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious and offered terrific views of the Mersey and the Liver building. Alan, the general manager, Kerry (2nd in command) and Nikki in catering were absolutely amazing, very friendly and approachable and actually listen and react positively to feedback. I’m organising a weekend away for my team beginning of next year and this is the hotel I will be booking to stay at. So if you’re looking for a very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Liverpool with great views, good food and a comfortable bed, this I promise you, is the hotel to stay at. Management and staff that excel in making your stay the best possible, especially in these difficult times. You won’t regret it. Nik

Friendly staff can make all the difference to a holiday. At this hotel I was greeted by friendly concierge staff and I didn't see a single grumpy face throughout my stay. If anyone was feeling grumpy, they had the discipline and professionalism not to project it onto the guests. The hotel was near empty due to to Tier 3 restrictions, but the hotel had careful precautions in place which were carefully and courteously explained by staff. My room had a wonderful view and I could even tell the time from the clock on the Liver Building from my bed. The Liver Birds were beautifully illuminated. The breakfast was well organised and the full English breakfast excellent. The eggs were fried to perfection. I would have liked a bath, but the shower is nice and spacious with different nozzles. The fact that the car park is separate from the hotel is rather inconvemient, but the hotel staff's organisation meant I didn't notice. Thank you for a lovely break! Stay safe!
